I have had the aromatech Bt since 2021. Its been down more that its been working. the unit has an issues with the CORE unit that feeds the oil to be diffused. I had the CORE replaced three times because it just stopped working. I spoke with a Customer service representative who informed me that instructions to keep unit working properly are on the website under frequently asked questions. NO INFORMATION ON HOW TO KEEP THE UNIT WORKING PROPERLY ,no booklet came with unit how to keep up maintenance. check for yourself before making the investment! This if an over priced piece of JUNK!!! 5/15/24 As per the phone rep THIS BT UNIT is being discontinued! That means no replacement parts or unit replacement.     • DO NOT BUY! IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP FUNCTIONING!
I have had nothing but issues with this unit. I ordered in April 2023 and within 6 months I started having issues. This $295 unit is IMPOSSIBLE to keep running without issues. I find it awful product quality that there are so many "rules" with the use and the fact that it clogs and I've had issues within 6 months of use. The "rules" I mention are cleaning and maintenance and what you can and can't clean and how. Replacement parts are a 1/4 of the cost of the unit. I can not recommend this product or company as my unit is now 2 months past warranty and they're saying because I rinsed the unit with water and took the straw off to clean a clog from the straw that my option is buying a $50 replacement part.     • Be sure to clean the diffuser prior to refilling the bottle with all every time.
I have purchased two of these devices, one worked perfectly right out of the box. The other did not. A, many who have found that either at the beginning or over a very short period of time the diffuser stops diffusing. After researching several blogs, reviews and opinions, I ultimately came up with a solution, which was to fill the bottle up with vinegar and water, 50-50 ratio, and allow the diffuser to run for 30 minutes. At the end of the stem is a filter that gets clogged with oil and particulates, and by running the system with vinegar and water it dilutes and breaks down the oil so that the filter gets unclogged. After emptying the bottle out, I refilled with oil , and now the device works perfectly well. I will recommend that the best oil that works better with This device without giving names will be quite expensive. Inexpensive or cheap oils does not work well in this device I’ve tried them all in an attempt to save a buck but what seems to reverberate is the old philosophy of, you get what you pay for or I believe sometimes, how much you pay for it determines what you get out of it. I’m confident that this review will help to ease a lot of frustration with many who have found that either at the beginning or over a very short period of time the diffuser stops diffusing. ... show more

    • Finally, an oil diffuser that WORKS!
I've tried everything from candles, the plug-ins, to other brands of oil diffusers and none of them worked nearly as well as this one has. Yes, it's pricy, but its the last oil diffuser you'll ever have to buy. I live in a modestly sized condo (approx. 1,300 sqft), have two bulldogs, and cleaners that come and clean my home regularly. I enjoy coming home to a nice smelling home that's not overpowering or artificial and that's what the AromaTech AroMini BT provides. The app is easy to set up and use, the device plugs in and looks stylish sitting on my side table. The available scents on AromaTech's website are all natural and not too overpowering. The fact that I can adjust the intensity of the aroma is AMAZING. I set varying timing schedules which control when and how much (intensity) oil is diffused that why I'm not diffusing an empty home. It comes on ~30 minutes before I wake up, turns off when I leave for work and comes on again for about an hour during the day and then again from ~5pm through bedtime. Because of the ability to set schedules like mine, I haven't been using the oil as quickly as I would with other products. I've tried plug ins (too strong, fake smelling, and cause my allergies to act up), candles (only burn for 6-8 hours, have to be home to use, and expensive to keep buying), and other oil diffusers (only scent small area, require water, CONSTANT cleaning) - This is without a doubt the best whole-home scent solution product I've ever owned. Update: don’t waste your money. of the three I have none work even after getting replacement v2 units. Not worth price paid for product that last for a few months. Two out of three units don’t work. The scents last longer than the units. Have liquid waiting to be used but can’t use them. They make you go round and round to try and fix it. Just find some other unit that does the same thing. Once all my juice is gone I’ll just go back to Glade plug ins. Dropped off two of three that didn’t work. Replacements coming tomorrow. Someone called and said known issues with “thick” scents and they did a recall! Did anyone get a recall notification? ... show more
