Second thing, when first putting down the mat, like other reviewers, not all suction cups on the edges were sticking. HOWEVER, after the bath was filled up, I again attempted pushing down all suction cups and VOILA! Every single suction cup stuck down and held. After the Littles bath, I drained the tub and the suction cups stuck so well I had to pull harder than I initially thought. The mat doesn't reach my tub end to end, but It covers 95% of the tub, which is good enough for us. Keep it clean make sure that the suctions areas can collect dirty pretty quickly! We always clean it and change it to dry for future use. We got this so our pup wouldn't slip in the shower when giving her a bath. The suction power is just okay. It won't work if any part of the surface is wet. There are a lot of little suction bubbles, so it takes a minute to make sure they're all firmly pushed to whatever surface you'd like them to stick to. That helps with the difference in bath tub shapes, but is also annoying to sometimes deal with. If I remember to put it down before turning on the water and so long as the bath is dry, then it's a perfectly functioning item. ... show more

I recently purchased the Sheepping Baby Bath Mat for Tub with the promise of a non-slip surface and extra-long coverage, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Here's why I regret this purchase: False Non-Slip Claims: Despite being marketed as a non-slip mat, this product fails miserably in providing any real grip. My baby and I have both slipped numerous times while using it, creating a serious safety concern. It's anything but non-slip. Inadequate Suction Cups: The 200 big suction cups, as advertised, do not do the job effectively. They constantly come loose and fail to securely attach the mat to the tub surface, resulting in an unstable and hazardous bathing environment. Cheap and Flimsy Material: The mat feels cheap and flimsy. It's thin and lacks durability. After just a few uses, I noticed signs of wear and tear, including fraying edges and discoloration. Difficult to Clean: Cleaning this mat is more of a chore than it should be. Soap scum and residue tend to cling to its surface, making it look dirty and unattractive even after thorough cleaning efforts. Unpleasant Odor: From the moment I opened the package, there was an unpleasant chemical smell. Our tub is slippery so this mat is perfect in preventing my toddler from falling. It does start to grow mold in the creases of the suction cups, but we are also guilty of not always taking the mat off and letting it dry after a bath. We are happy with the product and just bought a replacement.
