Description

With this UNO Ultimate card game, players may not be Marvel Superheroes, but they can play like they are! This premium version of UNO features four card decks, each designed specifically for a popular, heroic character. Each player chooses to play as a character who has special powers that they can use on EVERY turn. A Danger Deck holds 'Event' and 'Enemy' cards to switch the balance of power! Players race to get rid of all their cards just like the classic UNO game, and they can't forget to yell 'UNO!' when down to their last one. Unique to UNO Ultimate are TWO ways to win each round as well as four collectible, never-before-seen Foil Cards which players can keep and collect or put in the game itself to spice up the Ultimate deck! The card game makes a great toy for fans of UNO, Marvel and fun on game night. Colors and decorations may vary.

I swear you have to be some sort of genius to figure this game out. That being said, my nine year old mega Marvel fan seems to understand it. I don’t know what that says about me but there you have it. He has tried to teach me several times but I would honestly rather play good ol fashioned, regular UNO. This game does too much. As long as you know how to play Uno, you know most of how to play Marvel Ultimate Uno. It's a layer of strategy on top of a regular Uno game. Also, since each player uses a character specific deck to play, you can play with more than the 2-4 players listed on the base box (there are now 2 base boxes - 2022 & 2023 - each with 4 different characters) combined with 6 current add-on characters you can purchase separately you could play a game with players from 2 -14. Each character plays differently and their cards are specific to them and their play style. So, even if you never play more then 2-4 player games, you have so many options of characters and play styles to choose from that you should not get bored learning how to play each one well. It's a great concept built on an easy to understand game that can be played and enjoyed by anyone aged 7 to 700! ... show more

My husband and myself stumbled upon this version of UNO a while ago, and loved playing it. For Christmas 2023 I, along with my mother and sister, purchased different characters to build this game. We LOVE it and are happy we now have this UNO game.

It takes two or three games to get the system down but at the end of the day, it's UNO! There is some strategy involved, particularly when you are attacked by an enemy card, but it really is a lot of fun. As we all do with UNO, you can probably flex these rules to what you want...
