The mounting arm was permanently attached. We had to drive out the pin, remove the top, then replace the pin so it could quick attach to my machine. Now it works just as it should. Not sure how many stars to give it

    • Foot will not come off mounting post
If you're looking to mount any other singer or other wide mount feet to this you're out of luck. The mounting post is permanently attached to the foot. So unless you want to drift out the pin every time you change a foot then this is a single use foot, not universal.
