This drill plate cutter is very simple to use and fits securely onto any drill I tried it with. It seems to be designed for lighter duty jobs. Light weight steel, aluminum, screen and steel mesh shouldn't be a problem. It is a value and for the price it makes sense to have one in the tool cabinet.

It cut a nice straight line. I will say that the edge it leaves is far better than any tin snips I have. Using this is also much easier on the hands over tin snips, especially if there's a lot of cutting to do.
