  • Great battery and great service after sale
I liked the battery power overall. I had it installed on a trike and never left me stranded . Plenty of power for hills I also liked support a year plus after the sale I had misplaced my battery lock key and they were willing to provide a replacement key if needed. Luckily I found the key but their willingness to provide support exceeded my expectations! ... show more

  • 20 amp hour battery
I like the first battery that I bought so well that I bought a second and built my other bike. This battery is definitely worth the money. I run this battery with a 1200 watt motor 48 volt I go 32 miles with one charge I had 1,300 miles on my first battery and wheel when I built the second bike with the same products outstanding products both of my bikes run down the road and you can't even hear them both with 30 miles of battery power on throttle only definitely by this battery guys ... show more

  • Battery life
Doesnt feel like I got a 20ah battery.. more like a 14ah with a 20ah sticker on it. Gunna take it to get checked.. does not have easy access to fuses and can short out without an easy fix..

  • It works and the bike is faster
Appears to be a good battery and I'm happy with the speed increase. I find not having a key ignition on the battery is a negative. It only has a on/off switch which isn't effective anti-theft. This could be an improvement for future iterations. It is a 200$ cheaper battery when compared to the bike manufacturer and is spec wise a better battery. Hopefully it lasts ... show more

  • Good Battery, but I had to open it up and balance it to get full capacity.
48v 19.2ah LG 4800mah cells Good battery. I will buy another when I have the money, but the first thing I will do is open it up and make sure it's balanced. The battery indicator never worked well on the battery or on the bikes display. It would show 5 bars for the whole ride and shortly after it showed 3 or 4 bars under acceleration, the BMS would cut the battery, the display would go blank and I'll be pedaling the rest of the way home. Eventually I figured out how to make the display show voltage and it was cutting out at about 46 volts. I opened up the battery and tested the voltage across each 4 cell series, and one measured .4 volts lower than the other 12. I used a hobby charger to bring that 4 cell series up to the voltage of the other 12, and now the battery is perfect. The battery indicators now work well, I can run it down to zero bars and 40.5 volts (lower if i change voltage cutoff on controller). I can now use full capacity. I'm convinced it was not balanced when i bought it 2 years ago, and the BMS cannot fix one series voltage being too low. I still open it up every few cycles to bring that series up to voltage and it may have a bad cell. I may break it apart and replace a cell or two eventually, but for now its working great as is with a little balancing help. USB plug may or may not work right. I've had this battery 2 years and still working great. However, I probably degraded the cells a bit keeping it fully charged. I can't wait to buy another and see how much better it works with proper care and what I have learned with this one. If you want to get the most out of your battery, don't be afraid to be a geek. If its cutting off at too high of voltage open it up and check the voltages. ... show more

  • Moderate battery
The 48V 1500W battery is a great mid-budget battery. It is a bit expensive, but I think it is worth the price I have a little over 125miles on the battery currently. I live out in the country where the roads have many hills and I usually get around 13-14 miles at an average speed of 25mph with a very heavy bike on one charge. It takes about 4-5 hours to fully charge and the battery does get a little hot. The bike mount in my situation is not great, one good hit and it will break off the bike only using 3 centered bolts. My bike did fall on its side in grass twice and the battery handled the impact very well, but I would not trust it on a harder surface like concrete. The battery is a bit tough to slide on and off the bike mount. Other than the mounting system the battery is a great buy. ... show more
