Frequently asked questions

Choosing the right capacity for your ebike battery depends on your specific needs such as distance to cover, the weight of the rider, type of terrain, and power of the motor. A 20Ah battery will offer longer range compared to 15Ah or 13Ah batteries. If your rides are long, or you have a powerful motor up to 1500W, a higher capacity like 20Ah is advisable. For moderate daily use or lower power motors, 15Ah or 13Ah may suffice.

This ebike battery is designed to be versatile, making it compatible with a range of brands like Bafang, Voilamart, AW Ebikeling, JauoPay, PEXMOR, L-Faster, and other motors that support 0-1500W and have voltage requirements of 52V, 48V, or 36V. However, it's crucial to check your ebike motor's voltage and power requirements before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

The charging time for the ebike battery depends on its capacity (20Ah, 15Ah, 13Ah) and the charger's output. Generally, a full charge can take anywhere from 3 to 7 hours. Using the provided charger is recommended to ensure safety and longevity of the battery. Regular charging within its capacity and not deep discharging helps in maintaining the battery's lifespan effectively.

Yes, you can replace your existing ebike battery with this one provided it matches the voltage (52V, 48V, or 36V) and is compatible with the power range of your motor (0-1500W). Ensure the dimensions fit your bike's battery mount and the connectors are compatible. If unsure, consult your ebike's manufacturer or a professional technician for advice.

  • It works and the bike is faster
Style: 48V 20Ah 0-1500W(LG4800 Cell)
Appears to be a good battery and I'm happy with the speed increase. I find not having a key ignition on the battery is a negative. It only has a on/off switch which isn't effective anti-theft. This could be an improvement for future iterations. It is a 200$ cheaper battery when compared to the bike manufacturer and is spec wise a better battery. Hopefully it lasts ... show more

  • Battery runs great!

Hooked up the battery to my recently converted e-bike. Everything runs smoothly.

  • Pretty good so far, hopefully better when I fix my breaks.
Style: 52V 20Ah 500-1500W(LG4800 Cell)
Im using the 52v 20ah version for my build and with the breaks dragging under full throttle usage with speeds at 30+mph and and average of 17mph I'm getting about 14 miles. Once I replace the breaks I'll see if the range improves. The included charger sucks, I'd rather they just left that out and shave $20 off the total cost. Get the Yarlan 58.8v charger, will fully charge this battery in 3 hours while the included takes more than twice as long. ... show more

  • Solid value battery
Style: 52V 20Ah 500-1500W(LG4800 Cell)
Shipped same day as order, received in 1 business day friday to monday. Battery is ace, cheapest 52v on market and has held up in a few different weather conditions. Requested a adapter and they included unsoldered XT90 plug w wire, but came with XT60 discharge and 3 amp XLR charger. Recommended.

  • Good Battery, but I had to open it up and balance it to get full capacity.
Style: 48V 20Ah 0-1500W(LG4800 Cell)
48v 19.2ah LG 4800mah cells Good battery. I will buy another when I have the money, but the first thing I will do is open it up and make sure it's balanced. The battery indicator never worked well on the battery or on the bikes display. It would show 5 bars for the whole ride and shortly after it showed 3 or 4 bars under acceleration, the BMS would cut the battery, the display would go blank and I'll be pedaling the rest of the way home. Eventually I figured out how to make the display show voltage and it was cutting out at about 46 volts. I opened up the battery and tested the voltage across each 4 cell series, and one measured .4 volts lower than the other 12. I used a hobby charger to bring that 4 cell series up to the voltage of the other 12, and now the battery is perfect. The battery indicators now work well, I can run it down to zero bars and 40.5 volts (lower if i change voltage cutoff on controller). I can now use full capacity. I'm convinced it was not balanced when i bought it 2 years ago, and the BMS cannot fix one series voltage being too low. I still open it up every few cycles to bring that series up to voltage and it may have a bad cell. I may break it apart and replace a cell or two eventually, but for now its working great as is with a little balancing help. USB plug may or may not work right. I've had this battery 2 years and still working great. However, I probably degraded the cells a bit keeping it fully charged. I can't wait to buy another and see how much better it works with proper care and what I have learned with this one. If you want to get the most out of your battery, don't be afraid to be a geek. If its cutting off at too high of voltage open it up and check the voltages. ... show more

  • Battery life
Style: 48V 13Ah 0-1000W
If only using throttle and you're going full speed, the whole time it will last about 22 miles. However, I have had my battery for three years now and it has finally quit Online says batteries typically last 3 to 5 years. If well-maintained and I feel I maintain mine. Well this isn't a bad review. This isn't a good review just sharing my experience. ... show more
