My dogs are both furry around the neck area, and I was always struggling to pinch those little plastic buckles to remove the collars. I ordered a Large collar. Pretty and nice quality. I wished they had a Large collar, however, that wasn't so wide. Although my dog is big, the width of the collar is pretty big; a 3/4 inch would have been better. I ended up sending it back because of this. It looked very uncomfortable on my dog even though my dog is a very big big dog. It looks so uncomfortable and stiff. I absolutely love the fabric and the design of this collar, but the buckle is not strong enough. My dog jumped off the couch and it popped off her neck and later in the day she was coming down the stairs and it popped off. Also it’s not very secure.
