I was tired of scrambling in the dark inside my kitchen cupboard which is under my counter. It is also a corner cabinet next to the dishwasher, so the back goes quite deep and it is extremely difficult to see and get what you need sometimes. So I bought these lights to at least see what I am doing inside the cabinet. It makes a HUGE difference, honestly I should have gotten these lights years ago and saved myself the aggravation... These lights are very bright, especially considering the fact that they are battery powered, so it is able to light up the entire cupboard so I can see everything. Also, there is the option to use a motion sensor, so it turns on immediately when I open the cupboard door, and turns off a few seconds after closing it so the battery doesn't drain. The lights also recharge via USB-C which is nice, and it does come with a charging cable just in case you don't have one already. Since I attached them to the inside of the cupboard, I had to use the adhesive metal tabs so that the magnet could hold the light in place. Super easy to install. It literally took me a minute, maybe 2 minutes to install the light. I've only had the lights a short while, so I can't speak to the longevity, but the product seems well built enough and I don't expect to see any defects, so unless I update this review with some issues, this is an easy recommendation from me. If you need an easy to install light inside a cabinet or anywhere tricky like that, or if you need a light with motion sensor, this would be a great choice. ... show more

I’ve had these lights for a couple weeks now and i like then so far. Followed instructions to charge fully (after checking that they both worked) and they havent let me down yet. I stuck one to the top of my bookshelf (a darker corner of the room) and it provides ample light for when im at the shelf or want extra ambient light. The motion detection is surprisingly sensitive. I have it turned off during the day and tend to only turn it on or have it on motion-detection mode when im in that room at night AND i have yet to recharge it! Ive keep the other one charged and ready to switch out. I wonder how much charge it’ll have by the time i do need to change out the current one. As for “installation”, super simple. The magnetic bars were easy to stick onto the shelf with the foam stickies. The entire light isnt very weighty so if youre afraid of damaging your surfaces when it comes time to remove adhesives i suggest using a 3mm adhesive. For me, i stuck it into the interior of my bookshelf so its fairly hidden and theres a lip so its almost flush with that too, and i dont care about damaging an old bookshelf. I cant speak on the quality of the adhesive in regards to removal but its sturdy, it wont fall off anytime soon. The magnet bars were also easy to center on the back of the light if you’re very precise about balance/positioning the light onto whatever surface- gently nudge both magnet bars until they do not want to budge and then position it onto the place you want it to sit. Mark where the metal/magnets bats sit and thats we’re youll adhere them, and itll always be center. It takes a while to figure what direction to flip the switch without looking but thats on me. Ok so this is the deal ..I am not a review type of person .I could care less . It is not my thing. I’m a huge online shopper and I’ve had a lot of fantastic items that I’ve just kept myself. However, this item was a little bit more special.. beyond my expectations and I’m hard to please. The simplicity of it all .the brightness.. I love how it recognizes motion really early zyou don’t have to necessarily be face-to-face with it. That was an amazing thing. I’ definitely want to purchase more and more and more and more save on the light bill.. advice is to put it in an area where it will not just beam in your eye as soon as you enter the room because it is extremely bright. Have it more like a hidden gem. Oh yes, and it cuts off really fast when in auto mode. I’m in love Great buy!! ... show more

These are rechargeable lights with motion detection mode that actually works, even when I placed them under the counter. It has an auto mode with a switch that you can slide to auto or night. I’m still trying to figure out how they work (see the pic of switch options). I think you can leave them on all the time even during the day. I chose the auto mode, so at night it will automatically come on when it senses somebody walking by. I was very pleased that the motion sensor worked even when I placed them on the cabinet bottom. my cabinet bottoms have a 1inch ”lip” so I wasn’t sure if the sensor would be able to work! It works great and looks nice. Super easy to install. You can slip them right out of the magnets that hold them in place. I install them about 2-3 weeks ago and have to recharge them. my only concern is how long the charge will laste. I don’t want to hassle with it every two weeks. We will see! ... show more
