First and foremost it makes great toast. Now to the fun stuff. It lights up and beeps when you press the button down. It also lights up and beeps just before the toast is ready. It is loud enough to hear but not obnoxiously loud. I am very happy with my purchase.

My husband is a Star Wars fan! And he went over the moon when this arrived at my house. He always been a toasted sandwich lover so this is definitely a bang for your buck if you like Star Wars and like toast! I love the beeps it makes when you first put the toast in and when the toast is ready!

We all love the morning toast talk w/ R2D2. He gives receipts when you start the toast and alerts you when your toast is about to pop up. My only complaint and why I dropped a star is that it sometimes tips when you push the lever down b/c it is a bit light weight. And I think it is overpriced, but we'll forgive that due to the entertainment value ;) ... show more
