I chose this Unboxme Santos Ceramic Mug because I wanted to gift something handmade to one of my friends. I was disappointed, however, when I opened the box to discover that this was made in China (see the picture of the mug bottom). I ended up keeping it for myself because I love the speckled texture and natural clay-colored bottom. I love the mild imperfections, as they stand out in my coffee mug collection. Note: this mug is about half the size of a normal mug, so you will not be able to drink as much as you regularly do in one sitting.     • Adorable. Perfectly imperfect. But…

THE LOOKS: Yeah, it looks just as nice in person as it does in the pictures. There are a few imperfections to give it a handmade look, and it’s nice. THE FEEL: This handle is for 2 fingers, it’s too heavy for 1, too small for 3, and as a result… 2 fingers is a must, which is kinda snug and uncomfortable for me personally. I should note, I think I have very average sized hands. It does have very nice texture to it tho THE TEMPERATURE: I’ll mention, it doesn’t have the best insulation. My coffee didn’t stay super hot very long. Perhaps I’m spoiled by my vacuum cups. But also! Because the temperature of the coffee just goes right through the cup, you can’t really hold it by the cup itself, has to be the handle, which as mentioned, isn’t the most comfortable, takes a little bit of finger strength to both keep upright AND not use the outer side to support. MOUTH FEEL: it’s….. it’s nice TASTE: as a coffee snob who has disposed of mugs purely for how they made coffee taste, I will tell you that this mug pleasantly and unsurprisingly did not alter the taste in any way, Ceramics are good for that, this mug did not disappoint in that department. OVER ALL: personally, this is a 3-Star mug. But I think to represent it accurately for most users, this is somewhere between a 4 and 5 star mug, so take the 4 Stars I leave with a grain of salt. ... show more

The quality seems nice so far and it looks well made. The paint job is nicely done. The only downside was that it was smaller than I was expecting. I would say this is slightly smaller than an average sized mug. Overall, it is a cute mug.

This is as nice as it appears to be in the picture. It feels sturdy to hold, comfortable, goes with any other mugs you may use, heats well in the microwave and washes nicely in the dishwasher. This is a keeper.

It can handle the temperature of the liquid inside without leaking warmth or etc. to the palms of your hand.
