The product was a little late arriving but was packed very well and without damage. I used three horizontal wood braces mounted into wall studs to hold the panels. The instructions indicated vertical braces but horizontal worked just as well. The screws provided held the two panels on the braces. The end result was amazing and added great texture to an accent wall. The panels are heavier than I thought and two people are needed to mount. Well made and worth the money. ... show more

Looks amazing nicely made, I used on Kitchen island and kitchen nook. I did coat it with polyurethane though because the surface is very rough and absorbs anything and it will show marks

This acoustic panel was easy to hang and built sturdy. Definitely made of good mdf. I am giving it four stars because I think the finish could be a bit higher quality, as it detracts from the realism of the veneer/mdf. Overall solid product though.

I got these for the new build figuring they would look nice as an accent. The problem is, All my walls are taller and would have to stack them, making alignment a little more difficult and not to catch your eye. I do think they will make an excellent sound absorption, due to the height of the ceilings. But, until we get it all set up, the location I’m thinking may by me as good. I will have to experiment with the placement of these. It is MDF slats with the polyester foam like backing to absorb sound. One side has a lip on it so the other pieces will lay across this in order to have a one piece look along side by side. Top to bottom are all the same and just need to be aligned and abutted. ... show more

Got these because they look good. I think you'd need to buy quite a few of these to get the true soundproofing effect. We have 6 so far - in our TV room and so I think the soundproof/acoustic benefits are starting to kick in - ie watching movies sounds better - I guess sound waves being absorbed by these things. But really we got it for the decor - but the wood slats on top of acoustic fiber is a classic touch. And they are solid but generally lightweight and easy to "install" (panel nails). And they definitely don't look cheap - ie they have a solid, classic feel to them -- though I will say they are not cheap either ... but worth it. ... show more

used some screws when hanging these bad boys...... thought the factory sticky hang method was gonna be like previous acoustic treatment panels i purchased however it was nearly non-existent. ended up just using a few screws. haven't had much use with em yet but they seem to be mostly reflective and dont really absorb much, but i my case thats what i was looking for. defiantly lovin the looks! ... show more
