Both units did not work. Mode 1 should be ON full bright when motion is detected, then OFF several seconds after motion stops. Well, the bright light would come on, but only for less than one second. Mode 2 worked - the light is always on, but dim. Mode 3 should be always dim, then bright when motion is detected. Like Mode 1, the bright light would only stay on for less than one second. I really wanted these lights to work, but I need Mode 1. EDIT: I'm ordering another pair to see if they work. I'll update my review accordingly. EDIT: I received another pair of lights and they are working as expected. No more blinking bright lights in motion detection mode. They are very bright and the motion detection seems good. I haven't mounted the lights outdoors yet - I only tested them in the basement. If there's anything noteworthy after I do, I will update this review. Bumping to 4 stars. ... show more

Very happy with these lights. Individual lights can be pivoted side to side, and up and down. Covers about a 40 yard radius of good lighting then fades out to about 50 yards. The motion detection is awesome. It picks me up about a solid 20 yards away. I haven't tested the farthest distance they will turn on at because you can move that center section up and down, but current position seems perfect. The manufacturer should put a warning on this light, "caution, may cause blindness." Great range, at about 30 feet of detection, and the LEDs do a phenomenal job of lighting up an area. Planning to buy six more to install around my property.

Light is bright and works as expected. Installation was super easy. Reason I have it a 4 star was for the following reasons: 1. No remote control, so you need a ladder to adjust the light mode. 2. I use light mode 1, so the light is supposed to come on when it detects movement. However, the sensor must be super sensitive because the light frequently comes on randomly. ... show more
