This system came well packaged and was very easy to hook up. I like that the rear speakers pair by bluetooth because it relieves wires going everywhere. And it sounds GREAT for the money. It came with a remote, too, so you don't have to use the app if you don't want to.

    • Good sound from a small soundbar
I wasn't looking for a top rated, high cost bar. Found this one. Works well. The sound bar is smallish, but I like that it doesn't block the optical receiver for the TV. Comes with a subwoofer and a set of surround sound speakers. The woofer is wired to the soundbar. The surround sound speakers have a wire between them but otherwise wireless to the soundbar. I have not been able to connect the surround sound speakers yet. Remote is good. Also uses a phone web app. Why does everything need an app? ... show more

    • Great quality for a starter sound bar
This is my first sound bar for my new apartment setup (and because it's an apartment, I'm trying not to get evicted with the truly immersive ones if you know what I mean...) I was actually very impressed with this. If you're only using a TV output, this will multiply your experience by many times. The sound is truly immersive with the surround speakers and the bass. Setup was a breeze, just follow the illustration in the booklet or float the items around yourself as long as it makes sense (bass in the front, satellites in the back). For the price, it's an amazing quality for an entry level soundbar system. I was afraid that the quality might be diminished but actually, I have zero complaints so far. The subwoofer is loud and directional but is at the same time pretty contained to the area. The surround sound speakers do not have that weird interference noise (a worry for any wireless part of the sytem) so thats a major plus especially because it sits so close to the viewer it would be really noticeable.     • Great soundbar and speakers for my outside TV
We built out an outdoor kitchen last year and mounted a TV at one end. The TV speakers were too underpowered to fill the area with quality sound so I opted to bump it up with this sound bar kit. It was effortless to setup, wireless connected just fine, and the sound quality is very impressive. At just under $100 it is also very reasonably priced. The units have dedicated power supplies and requirements so you might need a few power outlets to get fully set up. The remote works well and controls much of the settings and functionality. First of all. Ultimea always has great sound especially for the price of their systems. I'm not an audio expert, but these to me sound like you would expect to pay a lot more for them. If you are looking for a non-hdmi surround system, this is a great choice. The missing star is because of that non-hdmi. In this day and age we should have the HDMI connection as standard. The media could not be loaded. My Original Review (9/14/24) I was really excited to get this surround sound system, because the old one that we had in our bedroom was starting to have intermittent problems. It was very easy to set up (Took me less than 10 minutes), and setting up the app was simple as well. I was getting great sound quality and volume, and I was having a lot of fun on the app with all of the different preset and customizable EQ audio features. However, that all changed when I noticed that the left side surround sound speaker wasn't working. I checked to make sure that it was plugged in, and every other cause that I could think of. However, only the right side speaker (Which is powered by an AC cord) worked. This was very disappointing, because this could've been a great system. Updated Review on 9/21/24: After speaking to the Ultimea Labs Support Team about how to resolve the issue, I was sent a new system on 9/18/24, and received it on 9/20/24. All of the speakers on this new system are working fine, and the sound quality is great. I am very satisfied with the customer service from Ultimea Labs. ... show more

This 5.1ch surround sound system is smaller in size. The soundbar is about 24 inches long making it easier to hang and less obvious in some places. The system also comes with a smaller subwoofer as well as 2 bluetooth connected satellite speakers. Although the satellite speakers are connected to the system via bluetooth, they do still require a wire running from one speaker to the other as well as a power adapter.
