The shelving unit was packaged very securely and in a very organized manner. The package itself was very sturdy and not torn or ripped at the corners. At first I was a little skeptical that it would be strong enough. But as I put it together, I was very pleasantly surprised by how strong and durable this set of shelves proved to be. The instructions are clear and become intuitive as you go. The toughest part is getting the bottom section behind the machines. After that installation was easy. My suggestion is to try out a shelf level and step back and look at it a few times before using a mallet to tap it into place. This is a great product. First, all parts arrived undamaged and the instructions are simple. My space is small so I had to pull the washer and dryer away from the wall and set up the base first. The clamps easily pop off and were a little frustrating but they included some extras so losing one was no big deal. It’s stable and sturdy once set up, my laundry area looks awesome and tidy. We got this rack because out laundry hall has no storage space. This rack allows me to have so much more storage space. I keep all my cleaning products on it which is great because i have a little one who loves to get into things. It is pretty sturdy and can hold a good bit of weight. I measured wrong and ended up not having the space to put both shelving units over the washer & dryer, but it still looks great with just the one. It so nice to finally have a place to hang clothes and organize my laundry room!
