I am updating this because after the review the seller reached out to me, I was past a return window or a exchange window. However, their customer service is amazing!!! They issued a full refund. I would recommend if you purchase these, make sure they pair before trying to use them or before leaving, I did but didn't have time to contact the seller before leaving the country. I bought these for myself and my daughter to use while traveling to the east coast and then on to Portugal. No matter what we did these would not pair at all with any wireless headphones. We tried everything. Unfortunately for me now, the time has passed and I can not return them. My suggestion is to make sure they pair before getting on a plane. We ended up having to purchase the jet blue cheapy ones to plug in. Was really disappointed as these had great reviews. ... show more

    • Works but not well.
I did not have much problem getting this to pair, but the quality of the sound is very dismal, in my opinion. It sounds muddy, and you must set your device to a high volume to hear it. I tried swapping between output devices (PC and Laptop) and different earbuds (Apple AirPods Pro and Samsung Buds Pro) with no change in sound quality.) If it worked correctly, I wanted to use this on my Roku remote, which has audio out, to allow me to use wireless earbuds instead of the wired ones it came with. If the audio was clear and did not have to have a very high volume, it would be a good investment. Sadly, it has gone in the trash. It is not worth the frustration of returning, and I am very surprised, as I am a big Ugreen fan.     • Trick to connect, but then works great
I have a stereo that does not have bluetooth but does have a headphone jack. When I work at home, I'd like to have the music on between meetings, but my spouse complains that the music is too loud. (How she can hear my music on volume level 2 on the other side of the house but can't hear the tv unless it's above 15 when she's right in front of it, is just beyond me. But I digress.) The stereo is behind me quite a bit, so getting a long cord for a headphone is not a good idea. I picked this one out because it was on sale and had good reviews. I'm using it for a single earbud. (need to keep the other ear open for calls and anything else, since I can't hear when both of them are in). This was a bit tricky as it just would not connect to this earbud or a number of similar ones I have. It wasn't until I read another review that I got it to work. I'm not sure which was the trick, because I did both of the following at the same time: plug it in to reset it and do this is a space where there are no other bluetooth devices around. Once I recharged it and had it plugged in and away from anything else electronic, the earbud paired up pretty quickly. It must have been confused by the other earphones, my phone, my laptop, my printer or Bob knows what else in my office that also has Bluetooth. This thing is going to be a lifesaver, as I work so much better with music at a volume that I can actually hear and not have to wonder whether or not it's annoying the woman I love.     • Works well, but sound quality is lacking
Got these for my nicer wired headphones as an alternative to investing in a separate wireless pair. For the price, this device is of acceptable quality depending on your intended use. For listening to podcasts, movies, videos, etc. I would say it’s quite good. The latency is barely noticeable, battery life is decent for such a small device, and I had no issues with connection like other people. The single button control is easy to use although sometimes I accidentally press the wrong button combination and switch the language to Chinese mode. That being said, if you mainly use your headphones for music you will notice a significant downgrade in quality compared to your headphone’s wired performance. While there is decent clarity in the mid range and highs, there is almost no bass whatsoever, so this receiver sounds quite tinny. If you are planning to use this in an application where bass response is not super important, this is not the worst option as it’s the cheapest bt dongle you can get on Amazon and offers both transmission and receiver modes which some of the more expensive options don’t. But if you plan on using it for turning a nice pair of wired headphones wireless, I would recommend spending an extra 10-15 dollars on a nicer one that has better sound quality. ... show more
