The media could not be loaded. When I was looking at reviews I saw that the chestnut color seemed to come in different shades. When I ordered them it came in the color that is shown on the UGG website. I got a size 8 for reference I wear a size 8.5 in Nike blazers. They are not a wide foot shoe but they fit perfect. As expected, comfortable and stylish. Took these shoes to Ohio with me where temperatures ranged from 35-46 degrees with slight precipitation. Held up very well with wool socks from Smartwool and REI. I do not think this shoe or ANY SHOE will be as warm as stated without the proper sock attire. These boots do have warmth to them but to ensure that warmth, please by the correct socks. Socks from Aldo, Ross, Walmart, or Target is not proper sock attire... maybe for a cute outfit but if you’re trying to keep from toes from freezing, get warm, slightly cushioned socks from Smartwool, darn tough, or REI. As for sizing, I’m a solid 8-8.5 or EU 38. The size 8 fit perfectly even with T H I C K socks. These are not waterproof or water resistant (in my opinion) so without spraying them down with a protective layer, I do not recommend for snow/water play. ... show more

These boots are extremely comfortable. Unlike other chukka boots (think Clark desert boots), they are not uncomfortably stiff but fit soft and lace easily at the ankle. The boots have plenty of room in the toe. (The Ugg Bethany tie boot was too narrow.) It's fully lined with fleece and will be toasty warm in the winter. The boot does make your foot look very large; it's not super stylish. That's why I gave it 4 stars versus 5 stars. ... show more

I love the boots, however wear a high sock. I made the mistake of wearing ankle socks one day with these boots because they are extremely warm and had blisters within a few hours. Other than that great boot. Uggs are typically a wide boot so the boots are wide looking but don’t feel wide if that makes sense. With tight ankle jeans they kinda make your feet look very big but regardless I love them ... show more
