Hold a lot of shoes . Finally, all my shoes have a happy home! Put it together in minutes with my minor kids -Its that easy to assemble. It is quite tall so I guess because of the height, It's not super sturdy for me so I placed mine against a wall so it has nowhere to wiggle! This thing takes a bit to put together, but it's not hard. Moving it once it's put together can get tricky, esp if there's anything in there. The plastic connectors tend to split because there's not a good way to really pick it up and move it. But, even if some of them do split, they still remarkably hold the pipes in place so it still works just fine. Aesthetically, it's super neutral and slips into the background easily. I'm pretty happy with it and would buy some version of it again if needed. Love that it can be zipped up and closed so no one even knows what's in it. Side note: It's primarily marketed for shoes, but I found it makes a great wardrobe as well. I can find what I want quickly, and it makes putting clothes away easier. I tend to keep my current seasonal shirts, skirts and pants in there for easy access. I can then put my off season clothes in my dresser where it can sometimes get buried. I'd imagine the reverse could be done as well; I just happen to find it super fast to find what I'm looking for using this. Overall solid and I'd recommend to others. ... show more

It's not a regular shelf unit, but more than enough for a shoe rack. During assembly you need to be careful not to break anything, the rack becomes more sturdy once fully assembled but the individual pieces are quite fragile. It looks super tidy (especially with the cover) and works perfectly well as a shoe rack. I've even put hiking boots on it and they fit well. It takes about three pairs of (something) per shelf. Great concept. Good size. Easy to put together. But... the "fabric" cover on mine is literally disintegrating. It just crumples to dust when touched. I've had it for three years. It sits in a California basement (so no huge temperature extremes - but it does get warm in the summer).
