When we replaced our old, loose toilet seat some part under the bolt fell inside the toilet. This product fit into the hole and expanded when the bolt was screwed into it. Holds the new seat securely.

    • Holy Crap Amazing Design
The toilet seat bolt is one of the crappiest designs ever! I suspect the manufacturers used to make 90% profit on those old crappy nylon bolts and thus they somehow still exist. There is absolutely NO REASON why these rubber bolts are not the current worldwide standard. After one hour of wrestling with the latest toilet seat, dropping the bolt into the netherworld of porcelain, jamming myself between the bowl and wall, and bruising my arm - I gave up and ordered these. The next day it took me less than 2 mins to install the seat with these bolts. Amazing! No more crap nylon nuts for me. ... show more

I got these because the wingnuts that held my seat on kept loosening, no matter how tight I screwed them. They work so well that I haven’t had a problem since and I installed them 4 months ago.
