This is a really nice bed with a modern designer look. It is made of sturdy metal and has a nice diamond design in the center of the headboard. The bed frame is 14” off the floor so it has lots of space for storage underneath. I have several 12” high storage boxes and they all fit easily under this bed. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the platform style bed frame is (supports 450 lb.). It was easy to assemble, the headboard and footboard are individual pieces and you just attach them to the frame. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to understand. Since it is a platform bed, you don’t have to use a box spring with it. We used a gel memory foam mattress purchased here on amazon. This is a nice bed and I am glad I ordered it. ... show more

We got this bed for our spare room. It was well packed. The metal looks nice (love the black metal frame look). Very easy to put together, was done in about 30 minutes, maybe less. I really like that it doesn't need a box spring. So far, we've had a teenager sleep on it a couple of times and it is working out well. He says it's comfortable and sturdy. A total win! ... show more

I wasn’t expecting much from this twin bed frame, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is made of all metal and while it may not be super thick metal it is still very sturdy. Assembly was very fast and easy and straightforward, only took a few minutes. It was amazing how solid it felt after inserting all the slats. I am confident it can hold any adult with no problem. This came in a box about 3 feet by 18 inches by 3 inches. Very small. Only took about 15 minutes to assemble, and it is super sturdy and perfectly suitable for an adult, even a moderately overweight one. Having the built-in headboard and footboard is really nice. The other one like this I bought for my full bed didn't have the headboard. I recommend this. ... show more
