I've had this about 6 months now. I waited this long on purpose to see how this would hold up. Honestly, it's a pretty decent bed for the price I paid. I was REALLY skeptical when I unboxed it. Every piece was kinda flimsy and I could bend most of the bars with very little effort. I put it together (that took a while by the way, thought the instructions were clear enough to me), and check that out it's actually kinda sturdy. My daughter has been sleeping in it half of the time (shared custody) for 6 months now, and I've seen no issues so far. Her friends will come over and there will be 3 of them in the top bunk playing, and I've yet to see any major issues (other than it does "creak" a bit with that much weight as they move around). I looked at other beds... this had the features I wanted at the price I was willing to pay at the time. I knew it wouldn't be rock solid, or top tier quality. But it is pretty decent. I haven’t done a review in awhile. Let me tell you. It’s very nice! Only complaint that I have is some of the wood pieces were not really painted. It’s looks very rushed in paint. I got normal color wood on some spots. It doesn’t bother me because it’s a kids bed. Not something for people to come in my house to be looking at. It does the job for my two babies ! ... show more

I love that it's low to the ground, my kids are crazy and have already jumped off the top 🙃 which is the exact reason I wanted one lower. My husband didn't like that the planks weren't spaced very close so he took the lower bed planks and used them for the top bunk, since the lower bunk is basically on the ground already. Our 4 year sleeps on the bottom (and occasionally jumps from the top 🙄) and our 9 year old sleeps on top. They both like the slide but it's reeeaaaally slick, like they'll fly off if they don't use their hands and feet to slow down. Good for small spaces and still very functional and fun. ... show more

Came with all pieces and instructions were easy to follow only took me over an hour to put together. My twins love it and use the slide all the time. Wish the slide looked more durable when putting together but nothings happened so far. Love this product would highly recommend.

I was skeptical of all the reviews about it not being sturdy or it was hard to put together. I’m here to tell you those folks just don’t know how to read instructions and put something together. It only took 2 maybe 3 hours to make put together (and that’s with the kiddos playing swords with the wood). The bed is very sturdy, all the parts came intact. the kids love it and I love it. I love that the top bunk is just high enough but low enough where I can still see and put my oldest to bed. The slide and the ladder are sturdy as well. My only complaint would be that it ships in 2 different packages that arrives at different times. Kind of inconvenient because prime said it would be here in 2 days, which one package did but the other didn’t arrived until 3 days after the first. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I put this together alone and had a little trouble, would recommend two people. My kids like it, the slide is a little steep so my son was afraid to go down without help. The ladder is sturdy. Not super solid wood but strong enough for small kids. Wouldn't recommend for kids bigger than maybe 6 or 7. Not too hight either which is nice for smaller kids. ... show more

    • Not worth the money.
I got this specific model because the others had such a high price for shipping. Pay the shipping. The “shingles” for the top of the roof are particle board and they have itty bitty screws to screw them into place, the screws are too small, the wood is to crumbly and dusty, it’s infuriating because they have that step listed as the last step to complete once the rest is finished. Making no sense at all, because now I have to be on a ladder to see the holes and boards lining up, while also trying to use enough force to get thin to go in and stay in. I am a single mom, I don’t own a damn drill, this was very irritating. If my son’s birthday wasn’t tomorrow, I would send this crap back. Save your money. Pay the extra shipping for one of the better quality wooden beds. ... show more
