I got this specific model because the others had such a high price for shipping. Pay the shipping. The “shingles” for the top of the roof are particle board and they have itty bitty screws to screw them into place, the screws are too small, the wood is to crumbly and dusty, it’s infuriating because they have that step listed as the last step to complete once the rest is finished. Making no sense at all, because now I have to be on a ladder to see the holes and boards lining up, while also trying to use enough force to get thin to go in and stay in. I am a single mom, I don’t own a damn drill, this was very irritating. If my son’s birthday wasn’t tomorrow, I would send this crap back. Save your money. Pay the extra shipping for one of the better quality wooden beds. ... show more

First of all, it looks beautiful, it the slide price came cracked, which we didn’t notice till we were basically done building it (4 hours later…) Came in 3 separate boxes, but we didn’t know since we only showed one shipping number. Pieces for the slide were very flimsy. The wood was cracked. It’s been 2 months and now the slide is completely cracked. The rest is holding up well and looks beautiful, but really disappointed in the slide and cracking pieces. ... show more

It was not easy to put together, as the directions were poorly written. But I was able to get it together although I made a mistake and I had to drill holes for the ladder as I installed the bunk supports on the wrong sides. Atleast it was an easy fix and I did not need to take the whole bed apart to fix. Other then that the kids love it. ... show more

Perfect little bed, the bottom can be used as another bed or even a play area under the top bunk. My child is now 4yr old and she climbs up and down the latter by herself no problem at all. Perfect for younger children, not teenagers.
