The whole frame has to be put together. It is a little tedious, but everything is straightforward. The instructions and diagrams are clear. It all pretty much bolts together. It is very strong, and sturdy once built. The legs are long and give you more storage space under the bed. Pros: It’s a good height. It’s tall enough to slide 32 quart sized totes underneath. It’s also a good height for sitting while having only a mattress on the frame. Doesn’t require a box spring. Easy to put together Seems to be decent quality. Takes up less space than the frame we were using. I like how minimal amount of floor space this design takes Cons: No cons at this point.     • Perfect way to make a room look put together
I got this to replace an Ashley Furniture frame I got for my son that was falling apart. The screws on his old frame came out (and of course he didn't know where they went) and it was super squeeky. The slats on that bed were so far apart that it didn't make the mattress feel firm as well. This new frame was just what we needed! It was super easy to put together. Although it doesn't have bars to keep the mattress in place there are some slats that the mattress rests on that have a sticky surface that will keep the mattress from slipping and sliding. The frame is rather high off the ground but it really makes the bed look more put together and classy. The black frame is perfect for any room and looks great. The frame itself is sturdy and gives the mattress ample support to make it feel firm (and not like it's sinking in any area). I put it together in about 30 minutes by myself without any issues. Took less than 15 minutes to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. Once we put a mattress on it, no box spring needed, it was ready to go. Perfect for a guest room. It provides a very solid feel when laying on it. It does have plastic caps on the legs so putting it on a rug or carpet is probably best. This twin-size bed frame is well-made. The frame is very sturdy with a nice durable black finish and sturdy steel slats. The frame is easy to assemble by following the included instructions. Parts are labeled with numbers. There is even some padding for the middle support legs in case you stub your toe. I added a twin mattress to this frame and will use the bed in my extra bedroom when my grandkids come for a visit. I did not need box springs or a backboard under the mattress.
