i love it but the reason why im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it came in looking like some had used it for awhile and then sent it back. its not just the scratches (which there's a LOT of but hard to see in the pictures) but some of the gold paint on the sides is almost completely worn off. i thought when buying a new one it would come in looking new and freshly made, but there's a difference between making something look old vs a product showing its wear from it's previous owner. im not picky though, it does it job being a cover and im satisfied with that. for those who think you're getting something made freshly made out from a warehouse and straight into your hands, that may not be a possibility. ... show more

Love the fact that this looks like a book (which is what I was looking for) and the quality was fine but I was very surprised that it does not secure the iPad in any way. When unzipped the iPad can just fall out. The pictures implied it was secured to one side like most covers because they only show it flat on a table. You can not hold up the iPad with the book cover around it safely in my opinion ... show more

Book Book is the best cover for the iPad! I just a few recommendations to the manufacturer: 1) Extend the plastic frame in order to have a receptacle for the Apple Pencil and still be able to charge it. 2) Add a feature to turn off the screen when the case is closed(Other cases do it) 3) Move the plate with magnets to the edge and extend the plate so it can be placed inside the pocket, in that way the iPad will have a stable open position. This was a tight fit for my 2015 15” MacBook Pro but it is nice because it doesn’t move around and doesn’t need internal straps. I cut a little piece of moleskin to cover the backs of the zippers so it won’t cause any scratching. I would recommend doing the same if you don’t already have protection along the edges of your laptop. ... show more
