I seriously can’t recommend this desk lamp enough! It is super bright (there’s 3 different brightness settings), very sturdy, quick and easy to turn on and off, and even has a USB port on it that you can use to charge your phone or any number of other things! It worked great as a lamp for my home office, for coloring or homework with my kids, as a bedroom nightstand light, and has since worked even better at my makeup and nails station lately! It’s absolutely PERFECT for doing my makeup and nails! It is a nice matte black color and is a gooseneck lamp, so you can adjust the light however you want (range from high to low shown in my pictures). This part is is perfect for doing my nails, especially when applying tips or tiny rhinestones with my bad eyes! To make it turn on or turn off you just tap the top of the base however many times you want, it’s very sensitive to your touch and is just a breeze to use! And one of the best parts is that you don’t have to change out the light bulb(s)! I’m pretty sure it’s an LED light, but I’ve had mine for about 6 and a half years and used the heck out of it and have never had to change any lighting or had any issues with lights burning out! The only reason I bought a new one (being delivered today) is because my kids are SUPER rough and unintentionally destructive and just recently there seems to be a short in the cord or something because it’ll work great until I move it and then it turns off and won’t turn back on again until I jiggle the cord around or physically move the light back to where it was before I tired to move it. Since I primarily use it for my nails and I move it frequently while using it I just went ahead and ordered another one. I’ll honestly probably still keep this one and just use it if I’m doing my makeup in the bathroom or something where I don’t have to move it, because it still works great as long as you don’t move it! It for some reason the quality has changed and the new lamp doesn’t meet the same standards then I’ll come back here and update my review. But otherwise I say don’t even take a second to consider it, just buy now and I promise you won’t be disappointed!!! ... show more

Makes for a perfect night time light in kitchen and bathroom. I have one behind my computer just for an attractive backlight. The USB plugin is a nice extra. I bought a white and a black desk lamp. The white for my bedroom, the black for my computer desk. I was replacing a beloved computer lamp that died. These were inexpensive and looked like what I needed. I wanted the USB port on the side for my room because I could charge my phone and still have the lamp plugged in. I only have two outlets by my bed and one has my alarm clock plugged in. The lamps are good. They are simple. They have three levels of lighting that rotate with a touch and they do have a USB port on the side. The one thing that disappointed me is that the USB port cannot fast charge my phone. It charges it in the slower mode. That isn't a major issue since I charge my phone overnight anyway but I would have preferred a fast charging USB port. Other than that, these lamps are very good. Flexible, bright,and fairly weighted so that the lamp doesn't tip over when I adjust the light. They could stand to use a bit more weight on the base but it's just enough to keep the lamp upright when I mess with it. I feel the illumination is great and it works both for my compute desk needs and my bedroom. Very, very simple to set up with just a plug to attach. I haven't had these long so I can't speak to their longevity yet. I will update if they don't last long. These lamps are not the very best you can buy. They don't have blue light filtering or warm and cool light, just plain ole white light. But for me, they are fine and the price is right! ... show more

It's bright, flexible, has lasted and zero bulbs have expired. I aim it at the ceiling for ambient light, and down on my table if I need lots of illumination. I use it every day. Less than $20.00. A great purchase.
