Okay...don't listen to the one star reviews. "Not sturdy at all", "piece of junk", "hard to read instructions", "impossible to put together", "falls apart", "made of cheap particle board". My husband and I built this dresser together at 1 in the morning. We were exhausted after a long day of work. Yet, we still managed to read the directions and put it together correctly. It took around 2 hours to build and it required BOTH of us. I held pieces in place while my husband drilled them together. The dresser IS sturdy once it is 100% completely built. It ISN'T study while building it. The instructions are all pictures and no words. If you can build IKEA furniture, you can build this. All the pieces are labeled in the book and there are stickers on each piece of particle board. It's not rocket science. As far as someone saying 'cheap particle board'. Yes. particle board IS cheap. All of it is. Even IKEA, Walmart and Target furniture is. THAT'S WHAT KEEPS THE COST DOWN! You will never find a $130 dresser made out of SOLID wood. It will be ungodly expensive and heavy as hell. My suggestion is...if you don't want 'cheap particle board'...don't buy a $130 dresser. This dresser is nice for the price point. The top supports up to 150 lbs and each drawer supports up to 20 lbs. I was skeptical in the beginning regarding the bottom of the drawers. It was really flimsy and I was unsure of how it would hold 20 lbs. This has got to be the absolute WORST thing I’ve EVER bought and I mean that wholeheartedly . I’ve had this for almost a year and it has been nothing but problems since it arrived . The box comes with all the parts mixed and in a box . Yup , all the different screws , plastics , all of it mixed and no real instructions for anything . It looks very nice , and the price I got was lovely . But it took well over two hours to put together start to finish because of how incredibly stupid it is that nothings labeled besides some of the wood . But my BIGGEST complaint is that it has broken down in every way possible . The picture I showed is the back of the drawer , I had to cut the wood/plastic off so I could glue all the pieces of the drawer together and then go back and screw that back piece on because obviously the plastic screw did nothing . As a result (prior to me glueing for the upteenth and putting a screw) , the bottom of the drawer will slide back and droop down so it makes it hard to open and close and noisy, the back wood swings all around too because nothings securing it after the wood breaks . Every single drawer has broken (started breaking not even a month after) and I’ve only ever put the typical and light things 🙄 clothes (very little) and one drawer had video games in it for a couple weeks . I would never recommend this , I’m HIGHLY upset because why would anyone want such a piece of shat? Beyond me . And for those wondering why I wouldn’t return it , who’s gonna return a dresser that they had to assemble them selves anyway 🤦🏽♀️ DONT BUY IT , trust meeeeeeee ... show more

In the beginning this product and I had a love hate relationship. I started building it using the BILT app and messed up the first few steps and made irreversible damages to the side panels. I even made trips to Home Depot in hopes that I could salvage some of the pieces but had no luck. Luckily, the company was nice enough to send me replacement parts that arrived only 4 short days later. I was able to then put it together and finished the assembly. My biggest advice is to take your time when building and use both the instructions that it comes with in the package and the BILT app. The app is super easy to follow and has visual photo references. Don’t let the other reviews misguide you, I was able to build this product by myself and only used a hand screw driver. I think if you use anything other than that, then you will most likely damage some pieces. Patience is key, but it was worth it and the overall look is amazing, especially the glossy outer pieces. The media could not be loaded. Totally worth it. It's definitely not the highest quality materials but for the price it is worth it. Especially if you need something temporary or you are just establishing your home. The drawers can hold 20 pounds and the dresser its self can hold 200 pounds I believe. We totally forgot to put the ”feet” on the dresser. Which are just plastic pokie things. Kind of like a tack. We also didn't use the glue that came with it.. Because we didn't feel like it. So if the dresser starts to fall apart then we will add it I guess.. It shipped so fast!! A few days before it was expected to ship. It also shipped in two boxes. On two different days. So if you get only one of the boxes make sure to wait for the other box because you will need it. It ships the drawers in one and the frame in the other. There are no words in the directions. So you have to make sure that you really pay attention. Also. Nothing is labeled so you have to guess which item is which. Use common sense. Kind of thing. I showed an example of the directions in the pictures. It was very easy to assemble, the most time was taken investigating the directions and dancing. All of the supplies (screws, and crap) came in one bag. The best thing to do is to sort everything before you start. They also give you exactly the right amount of items so don't lose anything! There's two different sizes for the screw locks. I don’t know what it is called so I am calling it that. There is a photo posted so you can see both of the sizes. Nothing came broken. Everything came in perfect condition. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because it isn't the best quality. But it's definitely not bad. We did the drawers first and knocked them all out..
