When I saw the advertisement of 560+ range I was very skeptical. I live around 55 miles south of Chicago's loop and most antennas I found were inadequate unless mounted on the exterior of my home. The first one I set up in the bedroom was two interior walls and the exterior wall away from outside and it still picked up 47 channels once elevated it to above my door. The second on is in my family room with just the exterior wall to deal with and it picked up over 60 channels. I really thought I would be returning them, but they actually work. I don't believe I picked up any signals over 100 miles though, so I still believe 560+ is a bit overly optimistic. I live in Bourbonnais, IL off Bourbonnais Parkway about a mile west of I-57. The hardest part of the install was screwing the coaxial cable into my mounted TVs. I would highly recommend them for a simple way to get HD digital local channels. ... show more

I received what is pictured, which is what I ordered. However the reviews now that I look back at them aren't even related to this model, hell one is talking about a sitcom instead of the antenna. For the antenna itself, I very light as if it's just a piece of plastic with a wire coming out and a lightweight but functional magnet at the bottom. I plugged in the usb (power source) and even tried with a phone charger block thinking maybe the TV didn't give it enough power. But I got the same results (green light if switched for short range and red if switched for long range). Screwed in coax cable and scanned for channels. Not 1 channel was found on either setting, multiple placements of the "antenna". This this is junk, don't waste your time and money. Maybe find the one the good reviews show shaped like a dildo, but this one is about as useful as those plastic boxes you plug in to give your car more power and turns out to just be a wire going through to nothing. ... show more

It was easy to hook up. You'll need an electric outlet if your TV doesn't have one. The range or the number of channels you can get is questionable. I did get a few more channels than my current antenna (sheet type). I wouldn't buy another one. but it does work. It seems to be the same as all the other types in that price. ... show more

I didn't have high expectations of the antenna working do to my purchase of other antennas. I can't say what will happen for others but I actually got broadcast channels when I connected the antenna. I need a bit more elevation to get a few more local channels but as of now I am happy with the stations I am receiving. ... show more

I'm not exactly out in the boonies and I still really don't get all the network channels. It's not as powerful as advertised in my opinion. It's a fairly simple device but I'm just not thrilled with the results.

I have bought at least 6 antennas in less than a year before these 2 . Trying to avoid cable and satellite TV as they are not affordable any more to poor people on fixed incomes. It was looking like we won’t be able to watch local channels or news . I just couldn’t give them up ,and I found these read about them and decided to give it a chance . I finally found the “one” it’s strong and I’m getting all of my locals and it even enhanced the picture quality of my TV . I am 😀 happy it works like all the others did not ! Seriously try it the reception quality improves when we held it close to the ceiling. It’s magnetic bottom latched on to the side of my vent and Walla, it works Great. I hope you give it a try I live in an apartment and the signal interference from other buildings was terrible. I bought expensive ones and cheaper one this was in the middle and works like a charm ! ... show more

Complete waste of money. I moved home to my small home town here in Oklahoma & tried one of these even though I had my doubts. I was right - it didn't work at all so don't waste your money. If you live in a larger town it might work but in a small rural town it won't do a thing!
