I was installing this Tushy bidet on my bathroom toilet today. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. This was a piece of cake. And bonus because the instructions and box signage were hilarious! I got it on and everything put together and was testing it for leaks because that’s what smart, organized people do. I turned the bidet on and the water was streaming straight down into the toilet. That’s not where the dirty tush is going to be, so I figured I had it too close to the back of the toilet rim. I took it apart, repositioned, put it all back together, and tightened everything up for another go. I should mention that the directions said not to use the bidet if you weren’t sitting on the toilet. I read this because I’m smart enough to read through the instructions before I begin. But I’m apparently not smart enough to heed said warning because I thought, “I need to see what it’s doing to know if it’s working properly.” I mean, that sounds logical, right? So, I was squatted down in front of the toilet after I checked all the connections for leaks. No leaks, yay me! I turned the bidet to the lowest setting, and the water was still going straight down into the toilet. I mistakenly assumed that if I turned it on just a hair higher that it would s l o w l y build more pressure before shooting out toward where a tush should be. No. No it does not. When you turn it just a little more, it shoots out like a fire hose on steroids and blasts your shirt and face with water. It felt like I sat there for 10 seconds letting it blast me, but I’m sure it was a fraction of that time. I got it turned off, and then I just sat there with bidet water on my face and shirt because you know, what else was I going to do? I didn’t even have words. I finally got myself and everything else cleaned up and dried off and guess what, the bidet works great! ... show more

Sometimes you just need a little help "down there" after doing your business, and I was tired of using a ton of toilet paper, or using what are called flushable wipes, but so-called "flushable" wipes are not actually good for city sewer systems and shouldn't be flushed. So I finally went and bought this bidet. For the most part, it was easy to install, however, I had leaks the first several times as I tried to put it in, and only after multiple attempts was I able to install it without it leaking. Also, although the instructions say that the bidet kit includes a brass mega adaptor, the one they gave me was plastic. This is the main reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I paid a lot of money for this bidet, the printed instructions say the part is brass, the instruction video says the part is brass, but you go and send me plastic. I fully expect this plastic part will not stand the test of time. So those are my only complaints. Once installed, the bidet works great, OMG where have you been all my life! My daughter was at my house and used it, then went out and bought her own for her apartment. So overall, the bidet works great and keeps you clean and fresh without having to use a ton of toilet paper or wipes. I thought I would have a problem with the water being too cold, but for the few seconds you're using it on your tushy, it's OK that it's cold water and not warm. ... show more
