If you're like me you have a cabinet of supplements that you've bought after hearing good things about some vitamin or some herb. So you buy some of whatever, take it for a few days and then forget to keep taking it. Then you forget what it's for so you toss it in the cabinet of forgotten herbs until the expiration date when you toss it out. Well NOT THIT TIME! I will only recommend products that are good enough that I keep taking them for a few months and I'm happy and excited to report that I have gone through three bottles of this stuff in as many months- it's THAT good! I originally ordered this product after hearing some good things on turmeric, including pubmed studies that turmeric and curcumin (found in turmeric) can help reduce fearful memories from being recalled, helping those with PTSD or just anyone with some things you'd rather forget in your memory bank. (search curcumin+ptsd to find the related studies). At some point I bought a bag of turmeric powder to make the golden paste (for joint issues in me and my dog) but of course it ended up in the cabinet of forgotten herbs .... until a few months back I saw a dr recommending turmeric for people that may have had concussions as a baby or kid, for brain health and I came across this formula which also had saffron which the brain dr recommended for mood improvement. I also liked the cinnamon which i know is good for regulating blood sugar levels which is really important if you if you fast or don't graze eat. So I ordered a jar of this combo Turmeric-Cinnamon-Saffron-Cardamom formula and began taking it. I'm now a few bottles in and if I don't take it each morning I feel a difference that day. I believe it is helping with: mood, energy, joint inflammation and blood sugar levels between meals. The company is great, if you send them your first order # from here after you buy they will send you a discount code for your next order. They have a few different formulas on their website, I wish it was easier to see the difference and know which formula is best for you, but they can probably steer you directly if you give them a call. I had to go look up the vlog I saw the brain dr to figure out why I had bought this blend with the saffron in it. Pubmed studies show that 30mg of saffron was as effective as taking 20mg of prozac! (search saffron+prozac to find the studies). Saffron also helps with PMS! Saffron is an expensive herb so the addition of it to this formula at this price is very nice and the main reason why I will keep reordering this product (turmeric/cinnamon/saffron) from this company (Vimerson). There are cheaper turmeric supps out there but not with this formula or this much saffron, so it's a good price even before the discounts or subscribe and save. The bottle says to take two together -- but the saffron studies were 15 mg of saffron twice a day so I may start splitting the dose of this to morning and early afternoon. I also may try to add the capsule contents to milk as a golden tea drink. I received a discount code after my first order but the first bottle I bought full price and unsolicited so this review is not biased although it did reflect on how I feel about the company overall; I like buying companies that reward repeat customers! ... show more

I've been taking it for over a year, and I believe my immune system is quite strong. My husband gets sick about 3x as often as I do. I'm exposed to his germs and I still do not get the same illnesses. t's honestly difficult to review a supplement. I don't know 100% if it works because I take lots of supplements. I do know that it's easy to swallow and I plan to continue taking it for the foreseeable future. ... show more

    • Product helps with my minor arthritis

I started taking this product because I heard that Turmeric with the other ingredients were supposed to be very helpful to ease the pain of arthritis. I have recently started feeling it in my hands (base of my right thumb and different places in my left hand). It's not a constant pain...yet. Just intermittent. I'm not sure at this point whether it's because I've been taking the Turmeric supplements on a regular basis or if it's just that I have not yet begun to experience the REAL PAIN of arthritis. I have this product on a recurring order schedule and I see no reason to change that. I do, however, have to ask why there is a rating above for "Flavor"....the supplement comes in a capsule form so there is no "flavor" as far as I know...unless the capsule is broken open and I have never seen a reason to do that when I take the supplement. I will keep taking the Turmeric supplement because I think that it must be helping with the arthritis pain. That's why I decided to order it in the first place. ... show more

    • Definitely noticing improvements

While I've only been taking this for a short time, I've definitely noticed an improvement in several things. First, and foremost, it has helped my asthma to an extent that I was not expecting. Honestly, I don't recall ever having my lungs feel this clear. I had pneumonia over a dozen times as a child and have self medicated with caffeine (soda pop) to help keep my asthma in check. Not only am I feeling more alert mentally, but I have more energy physically as a result. A decline in my caffeine intake has been a bonus as well. I've taken liquid fish oil for omega 3 inflammatory benefits for nearly 20 years so I doubt that I'd be a good person for pain relief benefits as my pain level has already been reduced. It is worth noting that I never really thought of black pepper as anything more than a flavoring spice. And that is something that I've always lacked in my diet as my dad basically forbid it in our meals growing up. Looking at the benefits of black pepper alone, it's worth continuing this supplement in conjunction with the other ingredients. ... show more

I've been working at computers for 8+ hrs a day for over a decade. My lifestyle's also largely sedentary. My back's been jacked for years. I started lower back stretching this year, but the stretches only help if I can "crack"my back. Some days, I'm assuming due to muscle inflammation, I couldn't get my back to crack. I started taking these to reduce muscle inflammation. ive been able to crack my back every day since starting to take this, resulting in greater physical relief overall. Sleeps better too since I'm not stiff and sore in bed. Kind of skeptical about the metabolism stuff but I have been able to maintain the same weight all through the holiday season. And I go the full nine in terms of food and drink - all the pie, all the carbs, all the alcohols. I should be up about 10 lbs by now but I'm not. After a few days of a half-dose with breakfast, I started having stomach pain and nausea. Lasted till suppertime. Couldn't believe that this might be the culprit, but after reading the cautions and other reviews, I see it is likely the culprit. Leaving this is in the drawer and if I'm better, out it goes.
