My tools now have noticeably more power, especially my chain and reciprocating saws. On my string trimmer and blower, the battery lasts as I do the whole yard, nearly an acre. It loses a star because I can’t get my women’s average-size hand around it to remove it from the tool or charger, but it unclips easy enough using 2 hands. ... show more

    • ONE+ HP batteries really are stronger than the regular ones
I'm a bit of a battery nerd, and a marketing skeptic, but the theory is sound (newer cells, newer tech, and a sense-lead to identify High Performance batteries over regular ones). Sounds like the seller/brand TTI is a parent company of Ryobi and similar. Half-off store price is hard to pass on. Sure enough, the Whisper series leaf blower we've got runs way stronger with this than the basic old batteries I've got. Was tired of sweeping some wet sand we'd get on the driveway where part of the lawn is dead. With the regular batteries it really couldn't push the bottom layers of the sand (even though the surface was dry and pushed away easily, obviously). HP battery made short work of it, even without the turbo button for the most part. Battery life seemed about right. How many months or years it lasts remains to be seen. I've got an HP compact impact driver but I don't do anything that would really need the extra power. I'm still going to test it since maybe it'll be better about starting at low speed on things that are mostly already driven. ... show more
