My husband’s an M.D., and he requires reading glasses. He’s very rough on them; but these are very durable, they have spring hinges that work very well, an
d albeit they come in many different colors, my husband looks best in the black frames. They’re lightweight, and he can see perfectly out of them. Each pair comes with a carrying case that doubles as a cleaner for the lenses. The last time he bought reading glasses… he paid $130 for just one pair and they broke. These glasses are strong and he’s never had a problem with them. They look nice, too!

Great Fit for Wide Faces and Affordable Convenience

As a BBW size 26/28 with an extremely wide face, finding comfortable and proportionate glasses has always been a challenge. The TruVision Readers Reading Glasses, with 60mm wide lenses, were the widest I could find, so I decided to give them a try. To my relief, they fit wonderfully and are comfortab
le to wear. The package includes several pairs, which is great because I can keep some at home and some at work. The affordability of these readers is another big plus. Every year, my eye doctor would tell me that I’d need glasses when I turned 40. I always laughed it off since I’m now 48 and can still see better than perfect 17/20. This year, my doctor checked me for readers and recommended 1.5 readers. I tried some readers on in the store, but they were all too small for my face/head. He suggested I get over-the-counter, but every pair I tried in stores was way too small for my face as well. It feels a bit strange to wear them on the tip of my nose to read and then look over them, but it’s amazing how much I actually needed reading glasses. Weirdly, looking at my phone without the readers after using them gave me a headache. I’m getting used to it. I really like these readers and highly recommend them for anyone struggling to find glasses that fit a wider face comfortably. I was shocked at how thin they are, but glad when looking over them. I just got them but they seem sturdy and I really like them.

Best I found for backup glasses

I have tried several of the “bulk” glasses and these are by far the best. I use these around the house have a pair in most rooms. These are not my glasses I use at work but great backup pair. I am surprised by the quality at this price.

Might be my favorite readers ever.

Been buying another brand for years, but decided I liked the look of these. Great readers, really like them, will be my go to readers. The matte gray and black, plus the style look great. Sturdy, no distortion, look more expensive than most low cost readers!

They are sturdy with good hinges. Like the fact they are not blue blocking as my cataract lenses already correct for that. Colors look natural. Like the tinted ones for reading outdoors on sunny days. Have anti scratch coating

The lenses are significantly narrower than shown

Quality seems fine. However the shape of the lenses and of the frame around the lenses are narrow and squarish, rather than large and oval as is shown in the ad itself.

Best reading glass I have purchased to date!

These are sturdy, clear, solid reading glasses. Love the different shades of frames to choose from. Will purchase more, as I need them all the time - easiest to keep a pair in all places of the house.
