This style of rake did what I needed it to; I prefer to the normal style bow rake. However, for the price I think the rake should have been heavier steel, I was still able to bend it up some by simply raking landscaping type rocks or smaller, and you wouldn't wan to snag a medium to larger tree root with it either. ... show more

I live on a hill side with an abundance of rocks in clay soil. This rake is excellent at poping rocks up out of the soil and pulling them into piles. The head attachment to the shank is robust and part of its effectiveness. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I bought this specifically to spread some heavy gravel. It worked GREAT. This was gravel the size of a golf ball which was dug into the ground in places. This rake handled it and never even got a scratch on the paint. I recommend it highly. And it came very quickly from the seller

This is a quality product, believe it or not I found on Amazon. It was shipped on time and more than sufficiently wrapped. It took me a while to unwrap the rake, but I was glad as it was in PERFECT condition and no scratches. This rake has screws to tighten if you need to do so in time. This is great as you could take it apart to clean it, but more important you can tighten it after substantial use. The rake works but I bought it because it shows a soft grip in middle of shaft. My rake does not have foam grip. I am not good at returns so I kept it. But disappointed.
