I bought the only rake I could find late fall as the old one I had broke. And it had a plastic/nylon hook-up to the handle, which in two times (10 minute each, two days after bought, only raking leaves) used, snapped in two! I was so bummed. Returned that one in the store I bought it, and went “hunting” for a better one. Here came Amazon, and many reviews read later I bought this rake. It’s been serving me well since! From raking leaves, to grass clippings, to small branches etc, tree bark, driveway gravel, or sorting pulled weeds from loose dirt. This is sturdy! Not a tooth bent, and no snapping at the base for sure. Don’t buy those plastic rakes, they can’t even do the job they’re intended to. This was a decent price, shipped quickly, and I put it to good use! Thumbs up! (If I could only find the correct size replacement handle for my pickaxe now, that would be great. I got this to bend over less when trying to clear toys from the living room floor. For that purpose it's perfect - it's small enough to fit nicely in the closet, pleasant to handle, plastic so it doesn't scratch up the floor, and sturdy enough that I can pick up some toys in its tines and fling them where they go like I'm shoveling snow. This first thing isn’t really a big deal it just surprised me when I unwrapped it and discovered it was neon orange it took me by surprise because I thought it was green like in the picture like I said not a big deal the only downside to this rake is that it’s not all metal. This was completely my fault for not reading the description well enough. For what it is I would say it’s pretty good and sturdy just not my preference ... show more

The way the wind blows and my surrounding community is setup, I am essentially required to warehouse leaves, for what feels like half of the Boston Metro West region. I had been getting by, using normal rakes, and was using them to the point that I felt like I was doing irreparable damage to my back, as long as it would take me. Then came the Truper 33655 Tru Tough Flexible 26-Inch Head rake, and literally cut the time I spend raking in half. It allows you to rake a far wider swath of turf in a single pass, then you could with a normal 14 or 16 inch headed rake. It's size prevents you from bending over as much, and it is lightweight enough to allow you to toss, shape and work your leaf piles as you would normally. Size: 48-Inch Style: Tru Tough - Flexible Plastic Leaf Rake w...
Head is NOT 22", it is 21.5", this is a knitpick, but it is misrepresented and the rake is otherwise of poor quality. The handle is unfinished soft, unlikely to last any amount of time without breaking. The head is flat, absolutely no curvature, a feature of almost all rakes. The plastic tines are quite flimsy, if leaves are more than 1/2" deep, it is quite difficult for this rake. As the plastic is so thin, the horizontal 'stabilizer' is placed very close to the end of the tines to make up for lack of material/ or quality. If you have a tiny yard, with a very small leaf load, then this rake may work for you. It is extra light duty. Handle is definitely NOT lacquered as described, it is raw unfinished wood. It might be ash, but looks like cheap loose grained (read:weak) pine. Grain is not oriented (assembled) to the rake head properly, grain should be vertical for strength when rake in use. ... show more

This rake is absolutely the perfect size for spring cleanup around the yard. I can get in between bushes with ease, and it’s light enough that I don’t get fatigued easily. We have many areas that are covered with mulch. The blower blows the mulch away, but this rake, if used lightly, just scoops up all the dead leaves on the mulch making it look fresh again. Also love that it takes up little space in our toolshed and is easy to grab among the larger rakes used in the fall. Great value, and I love using it. ... show more

Since I ruined my brothers special rake, I had to find another & fast...Of I went to Amazon....It came fast, neatly packaged, exactly as pictured...thanks very much. He, brother, wont let me near his new rake...So me & Amazon did good... Now help me find a not too expensive vacumn cleaner, upright, easy to take apart & put together? I have a Eureka bought for my brother ( ruined his burning leaves) He likes it , so Amazon & me did good. really neatly packaged & fast delivery . Since he wont let me near the new one, I know it was well done, thanks Amazon. Can you help me find a good vacumn cleaner, not too pricey, upright, easy to get back together!!
