My initial impression is Oh, Wow! I can compare these sights to Ameriglo Trooper and Meprolight Hyper-Bright. Can’t say anything bad about the aforementioned sights, but in my experience , Truglo Pro sights look more robust, easier to pickup in a daylight and a little brighter in low/ no light conditions. The slanted rear sight is definitely a plus and could become a huge advantage in certain situations. The manufacturer provides a 12 year limited warranty. I guess, will see about it. The engineering tolerance is closer to the upper deviation. I had to use a rubber mullet to sit the front sight into the place. Never had to do this before for any other sights. I used the pusher for the rear sight and it was going in but I could tell the resistance was a little more than usual. Regardless, this is a 5 star product. Highly recommend it. ... show more

Very good presentation and easy to pickup the front sight I only wish the slide was also optics ready and might have it cut for a Holosun green dot. Every gun I own has tritium sights even my SBS Shotgun

Have seen several reviews stating that these sights are "of poor quality" or made from "soft metal". In my experience, they are of high quality and made from hard "metal". Someone even complained that he needed to buy a sight pusher to install his sights. Yes, you should have a quality sight pusher to install these, and any other night sight! Like a lot of tritium sights, you are not supposed to "hammer" these in! I have installed 5 sets of these sights in several of my guns. Some of them take more filing and sanding than others, but their low price makes it all worth it. I rather have a sight that I have to spend some time "fitting" than a sight that is too loose. If you are only going to buy/install these (or any other sight) on only one gun, then maybe it is not worth having to buy a sight pusher. Otherwise, go ahead and get the pusher. It is a tool that will last a lifetime, and you will save in the long run by avoiding gunsmithing charges. Besides, isn't it fun to work on your firearms? So far they are all working fine, none of them have failed in any way, and are as bright as the day I installed them (my oldest is about 5 years old). These sights are bright. They're also easy to install. You can't beat the price. With a Brownell's slide and an RMR, you will get a "perfect" co-witness, if that's what you prefer. If you want lower 1/3, get regular height. With an MOS, you'll be in between perfect co-witness, and lower 1/3.
