TRUGLO OMNIA ILLUMINATED ALL PURPOSE TACTICAL RETICLE RIFLESCOPE: Created with modern sporting rifles in mind, OMNIA precision rifle scopes are designed with features and performance tailored to the modern rifleman and are available in various versions. This scope includes a detachable Quick-Zoom Lever for rapid transitions between magnification levels. Inside the OMNIA scope is the TRUGLO All-Purpose Tactical Reticle. The illuminated, glass-etched A.P.T.R. combines several targeting methods. A large 12-MOA illuminated "peep ring" is designed for quick sight alignment on near targets. Centered within the peep ring are illuminated crosshairs optimized for a 50/200 yard zero. The top of the crosshair provides a point-of-aim at 100 yards with the remaining subtensions calibrated for 300, 400, 500, and 600-yard bullet drop compensation. When compared side by side to a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8, this Omnia 1-8 checks all the boxes. The glass is ridiculously clear. I can count the leaves on a tree branch 200 yards away. It’s about an inch longer than the Strike Eagle, but the weight is similar. The reticle is clearly etched and is simple to understand and use. An explanation of the various holdovers is clearly defined in the owners manual for newer shooters. This LPVO is great for newer or less experienced shooters who need something great without all the clutter of more precision optics. The lighting inside is also great considering the tube size. The sight picture is clear and could easily be used in low-light scenarios. If you’re looking for something that has clear glass, a nice reticle, and is at an affordable price point then you can’t go wrong with this scope. I’ll be taking it out to zero it and run it through its paces, and will update after that. ... show more

This 1-6x LPVO is an excellent addition to my AR-15 platform rifle. It was easy to zero, illumination is fantastic, and the reticle is very useful for ranging and lede. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a good tactical LPVO as well as being useful while using it in the 1x mode as a red dot would be - very accurate and versatile. This is a quality optic. Clarity is top notch, it functions beautifully. The zoom is tight when first using it but after some mild use it starts setting in nicely. The windage and elevation are flawless. And easy to adjust. The brightness adjustment is stiff and takes some using for it to losen to where it's comfortable. Sighting in was simple, it needed very little adjust to get in zeroed in. The only issue i have had with this optic was it arrived off center with the mount. It's doesn't take much to adjust the mount to fit properly with the optic but i feel it should have arrived properly lined up. There are a few excellent YouTube videos to watch that show you how to get the optic and the mount centered perfectly. The horse shoe retical works nicely, it is simple but feels good and is easy to adjust to. I was able to go from 0 to 50 yards and jump to 300 yards quickly. So in conclusion lol, If this is your first lpvo are your upgrading, you'll love it. ... show more

This is an inexpensive scope, yet it compares favorably to more expensive “name brand” LPVOs that I own. It has very clear glass, true 1x at the low range and a very nice reticle. It seems really solid and has stood up to very heavy recoil.

I've had this scope for about 2 to 3 months barely used it I got it somewhat zeroed in They are stored in a padded case one day I was ready to do some shooting and I noticed the glass inside the scope was all cracked I don't understand how this happened when I barely used it and it was stored safely in a padded case. I paid $300. It was a great scope but I do not understand how the glass inside the scope cracked ... show more

I put this on a 22 LR upper for family use. We ended up re-tightening the screws after the first 50 rounds as they weren’t torqued well from the factory. Then we went through about 500 rounds without any hiccups. The reticle is pleasing to the eye and illumination was great. The knob to turn on illumination is pretty stiff but will hopefully get better with age. This scope is a good value for what it is. ... show more
