I am a little hesitant to write this review. If I am honest and this review gets back to the manufacturer, they will raise their prices. I am very hard of hearing. Without my hearing aids I am almost deaf. I have been going to audiologists for years. I have spent thousands on hearing aids. I tried amplifiers but they magnified all the sounds and were very uncomfortable to use. Recently, my new expensive hearing aids were being repaired more than I was using them. I needed a backup pair until my others were repaired. I tried these aids and I was stunned with the quality of the sound. They are NOT amplifiers. In fact, I now wear them instead of my expenxive aids. I hope this review does not result in a price increase because I intend to buy them again after I wait and see if they come up with any new updates. My only concern is that they use a small plastic tube to link the microphone with your ear. I have found that over the years, these plastic tubes have a tendency to get hard and brittle. Not a big problem, but at this price, I will just replace them when and if that happens. ... show more

These hearing aids have been such a help for me. My hearing had gradually decreased due to age. I have a hard time for conversations and hearing normal sounds. The noise reduction feature is a life-saver. I bought this for my dad since a pair of aid costs a thousand. After his accident, he had some troubles hearing. I thought he would love these and he did. He was worried that it would give him a 'super power' of hearing a lot of background noises and stuff he haven't noticed before since they amplify.
