I recently been using this Triple Super Phosphate 0-46-0 Fertilizer. I added a tablespoon to my potting soil and sprinkled a small quantity around my geraniums that have been in the house all winter. It helps them to produce more flowers in the spring! In the summer, this fertilizer is perfect for promoting healthy growth in all types of plants, especially during the blooming or fruiting season. I use it for my vegetable garden to help increase fruit. With a fertilizer rating with a high middle number, it can help increase production in tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, peppers and zucchini. It's also great for root vegetables like beets, carrots, and potatoes, and for blooming flowers such as roses, dahlias, petunias, and even flowering bulbs such as daffodils and amaryllis. . The fertilizer is easy to apply, either by mixing it into the soil before planting or top-dressing during the growing season. (I just scratch a little into the surface of the pot.) This bag will last a long time! I like that it comes in a convenient resealable bag, making it easy to store and use only what I need for each application. The high purity organic phosphorus content of this fertilizer makes it an excellent choice for adding to my normal plant feeding routine to boost the flower and vegetable productivity of my garden! This is a granulated fertilizer that is highly concentrated phosphate, the middle number in fertilizer that helps with flower development and root growth. This easy to apply fertilizer is perfect for heavy blooming shrubs like lilacs, hydrangeas and roses, and perennials and bulbs too. I personally don't use this fertilizer in my organic home vegetable garden. This fertilizer works great for established plants that have stopped flowering or struggle to bloom well over the years too. I have to say, I didn't expect to see a difference in my plants so soon! I put a small amount in some water and watered my herbs with it one time, after that, I noticed a huge spike in green and hardy growth. I will definitely be using this to bottom water my plants once a month or so because I know my soil lacks phosphorous. I know this because the leaves of some of my herb plants started turning yellow, losing their green hue. I'm so happy to have this on hand now and my herbs are much happier now. ... show more

Too early to evaluate how much of a difference this fertilizer may make, but I added it to a patch in the flower garden and it surely did not kill the early sprouting ones. The granules stay visible for quite a while, I trust this provides slow release. The product description states “for organic gardens”, so there are no herbicides, fungicides or pesticides added for the formula, but the actual fertilizer is not stated to be fully organic, if that makes any difference for you. ... show more

My mother used to add a small amount of Super Phosphate to the bottom of everything she planted, providing their roots with a little food boost. The results were nothing short of impressive. She also applied Super Phosphate to her tomato beds, resulting in a bountiful tomato production. I vividly remember the massive and vigorously growing tomatoes—a sight I’ve rarely seen elsewhere. Although it’s been quite some time, I recently rediscovered Triple Super Phosphate 0-46-0 Fertilizer. This upcoming gardening season, I plan to use this product on my vegetables and flowers. The fact that it’s granulated allows me to control the application amount effectively. This is now my go-to product and preferred brand for high-phosphate fertilizer.     • Provides more phosphorus per spoonful than bone meal

Every year we spend a large amount of money buying organic bone meal, and every year our livestock dogs manage to steal the bags since they love to eat bone meal. Luckily they have shown no interest at all in this TSP, which is a very affordable source of phosphorus. This TSP has in fact more phosphorus than bone meal does per spoonful. We are currently prepping our gardens for the growing season by adding one cup of TSP to each five gallon bucket of sifted compost, rice husks, and coconut coir used to top off last year’s raised beds. I am looking forward to seeing what this TSP will do for our tomatoes, eggplants, and flowerbeds this summer, and plan to add a teaspoon at the base of every plant each month or so all summer long. That said, I’ve removed a star since I really want to know the exact source of this “all-natural” phosphorus fertilizer. We’re organic gardeners, so this information is important to us. ... show more

This is a good sized bag of Triple Super Phosphate. It has a very high phosphorus rating, so a little goes a long way. Be careful about using too much at once because over application could have bad side effects. A little known fact about TSP: it provides an added calcium boost also. The phosphorus helps encourage blooms and the calcium helps with blossom end rot. I have not had a chance to see the results of application of this bag, but I have other fertilizers from CzGarden Organics and they've worked well in the past. It's currently springtime, so it'll be a few more months before my plants are in the flowering stage where this fertilizer will shine. ... show more

The description on the package is attractive enough: ‘high purity, fast acting, vigorous early growth, promotes root growth, produces early blooms, increases crop yields.’ I would like my plants to grow like that. Currently, my pear, apple, and peach trees are blooming. I am applying this TSP to the trees according to the instruction (important!). I am hoping for more and heathy blooms and more big fruits this summer. Later, I’ll apply to my other warm weather fruiting vegetables, e.g. melons, gourds, squashes, tomatoes, and peas/beans. I would like the manufacturer to state clearly if this is an organic fertilizer. Organic gardeners would surely appreciate this information. ... show more
