I love the light silver grey color. It’s heavy but not too heavy. I haven’t washed it yet or slept under it yet. The photos are also with and without lights on in the the room and the lighting really doesn’t change the look of the color much. This fantastic, plastic, velvety spread is a shining success. Tribeca Living's package reads: "Velvet (Pure Poyester)." I'm pretty sure they meant to type 'Euro Velvet' -- which is plastic, not a traditional linen or cotton velvet -- and I'm definitely sure they meant to type "polyester." Regardless of the exact name of the material -- or the exact spelling -- this king-sized quilt (110" x 96") has a wonderfully shiny look and a surprisingly plush, velvety feel. The silvery color is so light and reflective, it sometimes reads as white. It's difficult to capture in photos just how lush and inviting this fabric is. Its implied softness invites touch -- which is why it's important to launder and sterilize the bedspread. Here, Tribeca Living's package advises: "Cold machine wash on gentle cycle using liquid detergent . . . Line dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean." Well, right out of the package, I pretreated with TIDE Antibacterial Fabric Spray and cold washed on gentle. Despite the label warning, for sanitization purposes, I tumbled dry on high heat, checking back often, for about 20 minutes -- then let it hang. The silver quilt laundered beautifully -- with zero problems -- and lost none of its luxurious Euro-Velvety sheen. ... show more

I LOVE this bedspread! We bought two different brands off Amazon with similar looks since I couldn't compare them in person. This one was heavier in the package and when we felt the soft outside it was clearly the winner. So soft! We live in Florida and are going through our colder season now. This blanket almost feels weighted but not really heavy so it's really nice and once it gets warmer out we will just turn on the fan and I think it will still be perfect. Already planning on buying other colors for my family. Product is nice and well made. It is however, impossible to wash. It is very heavy and says "no dry cleaning". I doubt my washer could even spin this thing and I don't have a clothesline.

I love this quilted comforter. It's very warm but still thin and not too heavy for summer. The quality is better than I expected and looks very high end. I've been able to wash and dry without any issues.
