When I was looking for a new comforter, I wanted a rich jewel tone teal, with more of a green undertone than blue undertone. This comforter is exactly what I was looking for! The quilting is simple but sophisticated, and the fabric is surprisingly soft. As someone who likes to keep cool while sleeping, the weight of the comforter is heavy enough to be cozy but light enough to not overheat. It may be too light for some people by itself during the winter but I don't mind it. Comforter's advertising of it being oversized is certainly true as it is several inches wider than my old comforter. However, if you have a deep mattress and boxspring, you may want to order a size up if you are trying to completely cover both. The pillow cases fit standard pillows, but they have a boarder around them that give an oversized appearance to them too. The set has held up to two washes so far with no loose threads or pilling, so durability is looking good too! ... show more

This quilt is well made, great design & color midnight blue just lovely. Unfortunately I had to return the queen quilt as the quilt was way too big for my full size bed. The twin size offered would be too small so could not reorder this quilt. I would definitely recommend the quilt to others who have twin, queen or king size beds that can manage the oversize measurements. ... show more

I originally purchased this item as a kind of 'cheap' cover for my sofa; I have multiple dogs in my house, so I regularly buy cheap quilts to cover furniture against soil and damage. What I expected was a cheap, thin, heat pressed quilt, and what I actually received was a quality item, with actual neat stitching, and heavy weight fabric. The quilt itself is not heavy, and is suitable for spring/fall, or layered with other blankets in the winter. I actually feel rather bad about using this beautiful quilt as a cover for furniture. I am particularly impressed by the quality of the fabric...solid, yet soft. I was lucky and got a second chance deal on this quilt, so the quality, coupled with a low price, made this a true deal of a lifetime!! This is so well made. It looked so nice on the bed. I was looking for something that was not too lightweight and this was it! For me it was perfect in that regard. I just realized the color was wrong for the room. I'd love to order another one but so many of the color choices are out of stock. I will try again later. One thing that did bother me was that the shams were too big for my king size pillows. If I had kept them I would have needed to have altered them. That may have just been a fluke. I loved this so much the first time I bought it that I bought it again. But this time I'm very disappointed with the craftsmanship. There's a lot of strings hanging and I'm afraid cutting them is going to make the seams open. I will have to go with a different manufacturer next time.
