Came just in time for Christmas and we don't have trees to hand from , but found a spot from the car port and it works just fine. The little one loves it. Only issue I have is that one side likes to hang lower than the other side which is a quick fix every time we swing, but no big deal.

For the materials and time it'd take, you may end up with a similar swing for the final value between $100 and $200. THERE'S GOOD REASON we don't try making everything ourselves! lol This is a fine swing, and looks classically wonderful. SO INVITING to use and enjoy. If you try pricing out the individual components alone, not to mention the time needed to complete something similar, it'll be quickly recognizable as a silly task, when you can have this professionally completed swing in action in under a week, and only need to click a few buttons, drop a small amount of cash, and let the swinging commence. We don't get the nostalgia of "I made that" or "that's the swing my daddy/mommy built", but we can do almost as well by pushing them in it, sharing stories, laughter and meaningful time together. Great setup--we're grateful to have this enjoyment, and to recommend to anyone wanting something a bit more 'tangibly real' than formed plastic. ... show more

My kids love this wooden swing because it’s sturdy and easy to climb onto- though we ended up adding some grip stickers to the seat because smaller kids would slip off! It’s easy to install, very sturdy, plus you can adjust height quickly. Great addition to our swing set!

First off if your looking for an indoor swing this one is an awesome simple wooden swing. However it says it can be used on an outdoor playground and after just two rains it is faded and cracked. It arrived with unattractive spots on it already which I was dissapointed in. The tree straps are very small so forget using it in a tree, especially if you are an adult. I ended up using the straps to make our rings lower for my 6 yr old. Overall it is a nice swing and I plan to move it indoors before it cracks more, I didn't expect a wooden swing to last forever outside but wow, only a few weeks and only after two rains? Very dissapointed. 1 star for outdoors, 4 stars for quality, 4.5 stars for indoors. ... show more

This is a very nice and study swing for little kids! I ordered this for my 6 and 10 yr old kids and they love it! It supports their weight perfectly and is a very easy install! Try this out its worth it!
