Traveler’s Choice Silverwood is made of 100 percentage polycarbonate hard- shell to maximize protection of your belongings, the traveler's choice silver wood has a unique diamond-cut texture finish to prevent abrasive scratches and finger prints. The patent-pending T-cruiser handle system allows you to maneuver your bag with ease. The downward curve of the handle fits the natural position of your hand, thereby minimizing discomfort or fatigue. The double tubes of the handle system maximize the interior space for packing and still allow for a 2nd bag to be carried on top. The push-button mechanism and multi- stage locking feature allows you to adjust the height of the handle to maximize comfort.

I am very critical when it comes to durability and function. I travel internationally up to 30 times a year and go through many suitcases..mostly in the middle east and eastern Europe, the wheels break off. I have traveled over 50 flight hours the past two months and this suitcase still functions well, and looks great! The combination lock works well, the zipper and dividers are exceptionally well made, the retractable handle does not wobble as of yet, the suitcase can hold and expand well. So far it has yet to scratch. In fact, it is well made. I filled up the suitcase without the zipper extender unzipped and the suitcase weighed 85 pounds! The wheels handled the weight and the airline didn't break the wheels due to stress load. Plus the handle curve design stands out when retrieving my suitcase among hundreds of other grey suitcases that look at first glance similar without the sturdy handle design.. REVISED REVIEW After taking this bag on my first trip, I noticed a problem. I always strap a smaller piggyback accessories bag to the main bag's handle. Then tip the bag and pull on the inner two wheels. After rolling my bag from the parking lot, to the airport ticket counter, I notice the bag started to feel like the brakes were on. I found the rubber on the wheels was worn completely off and I was down to the bare plastic wheel. I now know this bag is intended to roll on all four wheels at all times only. If that's not a problem, it's a great bag. If you prefer loading up, tipping your bag and racing for your flight, this ISN"T the bag for you. Other than than, It's light weight. Which means it has thin walls. But it rolls packs and looks very cool. Stick with the 21" if you want a carry-on. ... show more

I very much like this luggage. It is light, quiet; durable; has muliple zippered pockets; the handle has 2 lock positions/heights; and is manuverable as a 2 wheel or 4 wheel/spinner suit case (as long as you don't hve a load on top, e.g., a backpack or carryon). Because the handle uprights are so close together it is a bit difficult to manuver as a top heavy spinner. Also the ergonomically designed haandle can make it a bit hard to get a tightly strapped carryon off. As an eample, my backpack hhhas a strap going across the bacl of it. I use this strap to slide down over the handle and secure my backpack to the spinner. When I want to get it off the handle it was difficult until I figured out how to do it easily.* Bottom line, I would buy this luggage again, and have recommended it to friends. *Slide the strap to the top of the handle; unhook one side; slide the strapped item to the side still hooked on. I have been a business traveler for over 25 years and have owned way too many bags to count. I have bought 4 or 5 Travelers Choice Bags and have always been very pleased. However, this is without a doubt the worst designed bag I have ever bought. The interior zippers are so very cheap and the compartments have no expandability whatsoever. You would think that the compartments would allow for packing them full, but that will not happen without breaking the zippers in this bag. It is a very lightweight bag, which is a plus and the spinner wheels are very smooth. Those are the only good things that I can say about this bag. My recommendation is to keep looking and pass on this particular model. I do however recommend the Travelers Choice Soft Sided bags. ... show more
