Hard shell but expandable; with careful packing and vacuum bags, I intend to have at least two weeks of carefully chosen outfits for a European trip fit in here. Meant to fit in overhead compartment or under seat in front, if it has to be checked, it has a built-in TSA-approved lock. Is very lightweight, moves very easily thanks to the four wheels, ingenious interior design includes outlet for a power bank (that you'd need to supply). I'm sick of dragging around heavy overpacked luggage and now paying extra to check just one bag. This also looks more expensive and higher quality than the price tag would indicate. It even has its own luggage tag for your address or destination. Haven't used it yet, but am looking forward to combining it with cleverly designed "personal item" carry-on, and will pay extra to board first so I can put this in overhead. I have NOT used it on a trip yet.. just got it yesterday. I love that it has the tall front loader pocket... It fits BOTH my 13" MacBook Air AND my 10" iPad as well as a TWO big batteries. With all of this in the front, it does become front heavy so you have to make sure there's enough stuff in the back to keep it balanced., otherwise it will tip over. Love that it has handles on top and side but the handles don't have enough give for all my fingers. I like the Blue color - it'll stand out in the sea of black bags. Seems durable, but I'll post an update if it's not. It has good lining and lots of pockets inside. Good value for the money... IDK what the small bag is about it how I'm going to use it... That seems like a waste, but maybe I'll find some use for it. Would've been awesome if they had made the second case a laptop shoulder bag, like a hard shell messenger bag.. that could've been more useful. ... show more

I like this suitcase, but it's really heavy when it's got clothes in it. I'm a tiny lady, so maybe it's just me. I would rather have something a lot lighter, but all in all, this should work for other people. I'm going to use it for emergencies in case of evacuation from a fire or whatever. It's an attractive set, and has some great compartments. It's worth the money spent. ... show more

I bought this luggage set for a last minute decision to fly to a celebration, it looks small, but holds everything, and it fits in the carry on bin. The small bag is perfect for a personal bag, unless you carry a purse of course. The small bag held 2 toiletry bags and some toys and treats for my grandbaby. It is durable and rolls in many different ways so hauling multiple items was really a breeze, and the lock is wonderful. This is sturdy good quality however the laptop/ipad compartment is way too small for a full size laptop. Would probably hold a Chromebook maybe. It didn’t work for my laptop. I love the look and quality.

This luggage set is awesome! Its carry on , not recommended to be put in airplane cargo, it will not stand up and may crack. Love the colors and price is not bad. Easy to minover, lots of room in the makeup case too. Added plus is thephone charger built in ( sold separate).
