I bought this almost two years ago. This is one of (if not the) best quilt I have ever bought-regardless of price. Heavy enough to stay on the bed during sleep-but it's not heavy per se. Great in summer and winter. My dog gets up on the bed to sleep and she likes to scratch her sleeping spot (which can be anywhere on the bed) and it shows no sign of damage anywhere I always dread washing a quilt because they always lose color and never seem the same. NOT THIS ONE. It comes out shiny and beautiful looking brand new and laying down just like it did when it was new. Any dirt/stains seem to come right out. It is not stiff-even when brand new. So soft and comfy. I normally buy cotton quilts. This was mixed in with my search results and I bought it based on the color/pattern not realizing it was polyester and/or rayon. I didn't even realize it wasn't cotton until I went to wash it and noticed when I took it out of the dryer that it looked brand new! I have never liked polyester quilts in the past-in fact I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known. My mistake turned out to be a blessing... ... show more

I love the weight of the "bedspread". It is comfortable for winter or summer. Nice pattern and mine is the same on both sides, so reversible. The only problem I have is that it is short for a king bedspread. That being said, they had the size as 96x108. I knew it would not be to the floor, but I thought it would at least go to the bottom of the mattress. It barely does. I don't have that many people in my bedroom when they visit to see the short spread, so I'm keeping it, but it is a disappointment it is listed as a bedspread. Otherwise, I love it. It looks quite nice—geometric and bright. It could be a little longer. It is plenty wide but a bit short from head to foot of bed. It may not be warm enough for cold nights, but it is perfect for the fall now. edit: oops. I made the mistake of using it wrong. It is plenty wide when using the pattern vertically(as pictured) and not horizontally. Altho I prefer the look of the horizontal placement when looking at it from the side. ... show more

It's also so long that it can easily cover pillows, although it comes with great shams. It feels great and looks good quality. I haven't washed it yet, so can't speak to that. I love the size....finaly a quilt that covers the box springs and has extra room to fold the pillows over. Also very pretty. Very light weight and qood quality fabric wont rip easily. I would recommend this to anyone!
