An easy straight forward install was a direct drop in for the cheap two compartment sink the builder put in this house. It is a true 9 inches deep and seems to be of very thick gauge steel compared to our old sink. My one complaint if that one of corners was bent due to shipping. It was easily fixed. The unit comes with a gasket that works great and is much nicer then using caulking. All in all with removal of the old sink, and installation of this sink along with a new under sink water filter setup it only took me about an hour to complete. Today is only the 4th day I have had it installed so I could not tell you about longevity of this product. Update: we have had this product installed for just over 9 months and it has been a great sink. Fitting large baking pans and even my grill grates for cleaning has been great. It had developed two small surface rust areas that were easy to take care of with a billow pad or 000 steel wool. I'm am considering buying another in the future for a custom toy hauler I will be building. I would not hesitate to purchase this product again. ... show more

My sink came in perfect condition. I had purchased this sink from someone else and it arrived packed poorly and dented. So when Amazon showed up with this one, I asked the driver if he would just let me look at it before I brought it in. He was kind enough to let me do that and there were no problems at all and the plumber dropped it in today and I love it! My husband and I just bought our first home. I knew I wanted a fresh sink in the kitchen and I knew what I wanted. Something deep with only one basin. Unfortunately, ceramic was simply out of our budget. We compromised on stainless and then the hunt began. It was really a budget game for you. But for what we were looking for, this was the best deal! We searched every corner of the internet. The sink did arrive with one of the corners bent slightly. Thankfully my husband is a superstar and was able to bend it back - he did say it was pretty difficult to bend back without leaving a crease.. The sink was also slightly difficult to install - this could be credited to the space we were working in but none the less difficult. Overall, a great sink and looks really good in our new kitchen. Well I like the sink it's definitely a good value for the price and I love the shape. I recently got this installed finally and after about a week I saw rust in the bottom of the sink. I'm very good about keeping my things nice no matter what it is. Luckily I keep my Norwex rag nearby and I keep my sink wipe down regularly with an oil-based stainless cleaner that I've used for over 15 years and if you can't find it you can use olive oil. Either way when I lifted the rubber mat I had in the sink to just do a regular clean out because things can get trapped I had rest spots all over the place so I had to break out the comment but had I not been someone who checks on things regularly this could be a problem. I hope this doesn't become continuous maintenance but I'm afraid it will when using a rubber mat I may have to get something that sits up or stands up a little more to protect the sink without something laying flat and flush. I have also noticed that it's scratches very easily. That may not bother some but I like the look of the sink the way it is and don't need to add anything else LOL ... show more

I ordered this sink and it came heavily scratched and a bent corner. The box was previously opened. It looked as if it was an return that they sent back out. It was replaced and came with another one in a previously opened box and another bent corner. It was replaced with another that was in a previously opened box and also too uneven around the rim to sit flat within the hole in the counter top. Sent back and just requested a refund. I then ordered one from Home Depot which came in an unopened box. Was slightly uneven around the rim so I called the manufacturer to discuss. They indicated that I could order another new replacement from Home Depot but were out of stock for 4 weeks. They suggested that I try to hammer with a piece of wood to diffuse the hammer blows to straighten out the rim. If it didn't work to return it to Home Depot. It worked since it was not flush by only about 1/16". Finally got it installed and it is very nice, but too much work to get a good unit. ... show more

Only installed this sink a few days ago but very happy with it so far. This was a substantial upgrade from our chipped and rusted 25 inch Americast sink. The installation went fairly smoothly, too. We decided to splurge for a sink grid (which is a whopping 3rd the price of the actual sink) but I don't know that this is necessary. ... show more
