These blocks work well. They are very strong (up to 15,000 lbs each). Much better than carrying pieces of wood that get moldy or lost. 4 stars just because they don't come with handles, so you need to make some, I used rope.

The metal feet of the levelers fit perfectly into the blocks - they are well engineered and took the weight of out 5 ton rig on gravel without complaint. Finger holes on one side are a nice touch for retrieval from under the rig. They are a tad heavy (less though than bulky wood blocks) so we just got 2 to help level the side of our rig that needed the most adjustment so our levelers weren't extended as much. ... show more

Whilst probably used, and intended, more often for/with trailer "jacks" - this also works well for a trailer hitch post. Smaller than a sizable block of wood or other item, not too heavy making them easily portable, and has a nice design.
