Color: the pics aren’t the best, but the product image on Amazon is an exact match of the sky blue color. Not too light not too dark Keyboard: Works great, haven’t had any problems with it. Sometimes if you don’t use it for a 5-10 mins it can disconnect buts it’s easy to just press the connect button and get it going again. No big deal. Keys are great Protectiveness: it’s not super tough but I feel like it holds my iPad snug and will protect it while in my backpack or laying around the house. I wouldn’t go dropping it everywhere but it feels fine otherwise. I do like that the camera hole has a divet so the camera isn’t scratched against a flat surface Stand: I haven’t had any issues with the iPad slipping out of the holes when standing it up to use the keyboard. If I get up or move it around I obviously hold onto it but no issues. Keyboard magnet: it’s not super strong but it keeps the keyboard in place while typing. I never have a problem with it slipping around under the pressure of my hands. I saw one review that said he can’t lift the whole thing up without the keyboard falling but who types while holding their iPad up, I mean come on. If I get up from sitting down and had the iPad in my lap I just hold it place or set it to the side. It’s not rocket science Pen holder: I love the look of the pen holder being on the bottom so it’s not so bulky on top. I keep my pen in there to keep it secure while moving around and then when I need to charge the pen it still charges through the case on the top divet! Overall great case and keyboard for the price. Everything works as it should and battery seems to last a while. Comes with charger of course. Definitely a good buy if you’re a student and like to take notes on your iPad but also need to type at times! ... show more

I wanted an economical keyboard for my iPad Air 10.9 5th generation. I have a Magic Keyboard for my iPad 12.9 Pro 5th generation and it's works well but it's about 10x more expensive than this item and feel heavy to me. This item is made in China and thus the instructions are written in English and Chinese. I didn't get photos of the packaging but the box is sturdy and each items was wrapped in plastic or covered with a protective film. The keyboard has to be charged with a USB-C charger which is included with the item. I didn't time how long it takes to charge, but the descriptions says it charges in 2-3 hours. It connects to the iPad by bluetooth and it connected to the iPad quickly. The area below the iPad is magnetic and the keyboard can be moved around any where on the cover to attach it so it doesn't move when I type. In general the keyboard works well! The button are responsive w a rubberized feel and have a nice click when pressed. This is a smaller size keyboard with the same width as the iPad Air 5th generation. The folio has 3 notches to put the iPad for different viewing angles. The flap on the outside protects the camera of the iPad. The case for the iPad has a thick rubber housing with a space for the Apple Pencil. If I dropped my iPad in this, I think it would be fairly well protected. The cut out holes for button, speakers, touch ID, and USB C charger for the iPad are well designed. The overall feel of the material is good quality. I tested the keyboard's functionality taking notes on a pdf using CollaNotes. There is no touchpad like the Magic Keyboard but at this price point, I wouldn't expect it. On my iPad I usually use the touchscreen and Apple Pencil to select words, highlight, or move around the document. My only complaint is that the backspace erases characters to the right of the cursor (instead of the left). Maybe that's a Chinese standard whereas backspacing erasing characters to the left of the cursor is a US standard. IDK The total weight of the iPad, keyboard, and folio is 2.58 lbs. This kit is a great bargain for anyone with an iPad Air. The cover provides good protection all around your iPad Air with cutouts for all the buttons and charge port, plus a slot to store your Apple Pencil. The keyboard is thin and light, and connects magnetically to the cover so it stays in place while you type as well as during transport. It’s slightly smaller than a full-size keyboard in order to fit in the case, maybe around 80%, but it is large enough to touch-type without too much trouble and lasts weeks on a charge. The keys feel like a typical laptop with some, but not much travel, but feel is okay although I do wish it was backlit. It’s a nice touch that there is a silicon keyboard protector included that not only protects from spills, but also protects your iPad screen when the case is closed with the keyboard inside. You can prop up your iPad to a comfortable angle while typing, and it will be stable enough to use with the Apple Pencil or touch gestures without falling over. I have wanted a keyboard for my ipad air for awhile but the prices always spooked me. This one though is pretty slick the storage area for you pen doesnt allow it to charge but you can still charge it normally through the case my guess is thats only for long term transportation. the keyboard came with a key cover which id hold onto as the keys will hit your ipads face when closed so it helps soften the blow. the things that really shocked me though was the keyboard itself the feel when typing is actually really nice. Im kinda picky about my keyboards and this one even though the travel itself isnt long it gives the impression and feedback of a mechanical which i appreciate.
