    • This wrench does the job, and for a bargain rate!
I bought a store version of this same wrench that was $30 at Advance Auto, but it was too big for the job of getting in between my radiator hoses on a 2005 Jaguar S-Type. So I got it refunded. But a few days later, I took a chance on buying THIS wrench. When I opened the wrench package, the two gripping ends of the wrench seemed a bit smaller and more cheaply made. But once I got into the hose replacement job with hard to reach hose clamps, THIS WRENCH SAVED THE DAY!!! Why spend $30 for a wrench that may not work with tighter spaces?     • Hose clamp pliers
Wish I got these years ago for hose clamps. They made changing the radiator much easier instead of using regular pliers to remove the clamps.

    • Works but really tight
The qction on the hose clamp pliers is extremely tight. Should loosen over time. Locking rachet was fantastic for a larger clamp i was working with in a tight space and i needed bot hands to manuver. Block and cup fit well. Over all great value.

The set of pliers you didn't know you need, but you DO. I've always struggled with flat-band hose clamps on my JDM cars. They were always a pain trying to use needle-nose, regular, or vice-grips. These specialty pliers make it easy...wish I had discovered them years ago. Inexpensive, so get a set!

Feb 20, 2022 Update: I have no idea what tool "HERB THE POWERMAN" evaluated below or whether he even knows how to correctly use the tool. I am equally mystified by the 17 people who found that review useful. I used this hose clamp pliers on a 1/4 inch small engine fuel line clamp as well as 1 inch and 2 inch radiator hoses. The Tool when used properly worked reliably 100% of the time. If you have not used a tool like this before, the cup goes over the thin tang and the slot side goes over the wide tang. This is a standardized design that has been on the market for years. I would also say that if you have hose clamps to remove, this tool is indispensable. I am no longer skinning my knuckles with channel locks. Original Review: Would be nice if there was a way to use it in an unlocked mode but as is, it is 1000% easier to use on all size radiator and cooling hose clamps than Channel Locks.
