UPDATE: My replacement lamp is exactly as advertised. It has 3 distinct light settings, the lowest is perfect for ambient overnight lighting for our elderly cats. It would also be perfect for a bedside table, easy touch to change the brightness, without fumbling for a switch.. I will be purchasing another. This touch lamp is attractive and compact, perfect for use in almost any room. It is supposed to have three light settings, but mine only has two. The first is the lowest setting, the second is just a little bit brighter. There is supposed to be a third, but a third touch just turns the lamp off. There is so little difference between the two settings on mine, it appears that I have a defective model, based on the good reviews. Turning a lamp on and off from bed is a pain, especially if you’re feeling sleepy, so a simple touch lamp is exactly what I wanted. I love this little lamp. It’s really attractive, and perfect for my small bedside table. And best of all, it takes just a quick reach over to turn it off at night. It comes with a nicely-sized (small) LED bulb, which is great, but the base is standard-size, so it shouldn’t be any trouble to replace. The only flaw is that the shade is fragile. Of course, when I broke the shade on the first one of these I bought, it was because I dropped it on the garage floor. I’m moderately impressed with the level of brightness the highest light level boasts. It’s nice to have three lighting settings to choose from as well for ambience sake. The lamp shade is somewhat fragile and clearly made well. The lamp is aesthetically pleasing and the touch to turn it on, switch light settings and turn off is nice. It’s a more compact table lamp, so it won’t take up much space, no sacrificing the quality of lighting though due to its compact nature. it’s definitely something I needed. I ordered the pink option and it lights the room with the most gorgeous hue. It also looks adorable when it’s off, like a little tulip. The three settings are great. The highest setting on both lamps (I ordered the 2-pack) lights up my entire room. It was very easy to assemble and they’re pretty light-weight. The packaging is not very secure, it just comes in a cardboard box and each part is wrapped in plastic except the bulb, which is wrapped in a light sheet of foam. But they do offer free replacements. Mine didn’t come broken but I would imagine it would be frustrating having to return an item that came broken because the packaging was not up to par. ... show more

I've only had this lamp a couple of days so bear that in mind, However I really like the function, aesthetic, and small size of this guy. What really sets it apart from the competition is brightness. I've tried three different bedside touch lamps and this is the first one that casts enough light at the highest setting so that I can easily read while laying in bed. Perhaps it's small size is actually advantageous for reading in bed as the light is cast at roughly the same level as the book. Anyway, it's a winner so far. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Perfect little lamps! I bought the two pack. I chose the corded ones because I hate that everything has seemed to go to charging, which is just something else I would have to remember to do and I hate worrying about whether or not I remembered to charge a lamp every day. These are touch lamps. You can gently touch anywhere on the base and they light up beautifully! I wanted them to put by our bedside because I can’t see well when I first wake up and hate having to fiddle around trying to find a lamp switch first thing every morning or anytime for that matter. It drives me nuts. They come with two unbreakable plastic light bulbs as well. The globes are glass and they just lift off the base, easy to plug in and use immediately. Mine arrived in pristine condition and unbroken, but if they do break during shipping, both lamps had little tag vouchers for free replacement in case of breakage during shipment. Mine were packaged safely and arrived brand new. You can brighten the light three times and then it will turn off after the fourth touch. The light they put out is a warm glow unless you’re standing right over it and then it can be pretty bright. So, definitely bright enough to see really well. It gives plenty of light to our room for any time of the day, and I think it would be perfect for a small home on a side table or good at a desk as well.
