The smaller sizes make a hole and slot that are almost the same size. Had to go up to the 1/4 or 5/8" i believe, for what I was doing. Cant risk a wall mounted wine rack not being secure. They performed nicely all in all - I just don't trust the smaller sized ones. We'll see how long they last.
