  • Gets the job done
This seems a little cheap made but it does get the job done. Not sure how long it will last because when tightening and loosing the extension rods they don't feel like they will hold up too long. But I have only used it a couple of times, and it does hold the rotary tool in place.

  • Works as advertised.
It does what it says it will do. It is a little flimsy but will work for it’s intended purpose.

  • SUPER low quality, but does the job... barely
The quality here is amazingly small. Nothing on this unit is in any way durable. If it wasn't so dam cheep i'd send it back but it's not worth the effort and it IS doing what it was intended... but wow I seriously don't expect this cheesy, low quality unit to last any time at all. You really do get what you pay for. Not saying don't buy it, but know what you're getting! ... show more

  • Do not waste your money
Very poor quality, it did not last 2 days and broke immediately. The plastic cannot hold the Foredom, The nut comes out of the plastic area that holds it and the bracket bends. I have not returned it because I threw away the box, but rather I returned it. A waste of money!

  • Beats trying to make your own.
This works very good with the Dremel 4300 tool, heavy duty enough that there should be no problems with it bending, just remember that the taller you make it, the more stress it will have on it. Could not use the clamp that came with the stand, because it would be in the way with where I have to use the flex shaft accessory, but was easy to make holder by countersinking a nut in bench that the tool can screw into. I did not have any trouble with the shaft loosening from vibration while working with it fully extended. ... show more

  • Great hanger for rotary tool
This rotary tool hanger is probably the best you're going to get for the price. It extends, as shown in the pictures and the hook rotates all the way around, as shown. The only thing that I would change is to be able to twist each section to tighten a little more or to have some sort of locking mechanism to make sure each section locks in place at the height you set it at, as I have had it fall down on me from coming unscrewed...basically, the sections came unscrewed and allowed the whole thing to teloscope back down into itself and came to rest at the lowest height setting. But, if you just make sure you have each section screwed tightly, theoretically, it shouldn't fall like this. Overall, I'm happy with this product. It holds my rotary tool out of the way while I'm using the flex shaft attachment and gives me the freedom to move the flex shaft in any direction I need to while engraving glass pieces. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
While this stand works, it isn’t very well constructed. The telescopic rod locks and loosens with a turn; righty-tighty, lefty-loosey. The based is definitely the weak link of the stand. It’s bulky and made from plastic and I’ve noticed a weakening of the base after only one use. I’m replacing the base with another base I have from a different tool. I’m unable to recommend this for daily use. UPDATE: the stand finally failed. The plastic base and the telescopic rod separated, and the tool came crashing down. ... show more
