The product is not as strong as I expected.The base is plastic and looses shape when tightened. The telescoping hanger bar does not remain fully extended because of weight.

    • Not well made and wobbly
I purchased this item with the flex shaft because I do wood carving for a hobby and I clamped this to a solid wood table and the clamp part is very wobbly. When it's clamped it's solid but there's a lot of side to side movement when it's not clamped. I don't know if the nut is the wrong size or the wrong thread pitch but it's doing what I need it for. ... show more

    • Great hanger for rotary tool
This rotary tool hanger is probably the best you're going to get for the price. It extends, as shown in the pictures and the hook rotates all the way around, as shown. The only thing that I would change is to be able to twist each section to tighten a little more or to have some sort of locking mechanism to make sure each section locks in place at the height you set it at, as I have had it fall down on me from coming unscrewed...basically, the sections came unscrewed and allowed the whole thing to teloscope back down into itself and came to rest at the lowest height setting. But, if you just make sure you have each section screwed tightly, theoretically, it shouldn't fall like this. Overall, I'm happy with this product. It holds my rotary tool out of the way while I'm using the flex shaft attachment and gives me the freedom to move the flex shaft in any direction I need to while engraving glass pieces. ... show more

    • SUPER low quality, but does the job... barely
The quality here is amazingly small. Nothing on this unit is in any way durable. If it wasn't so dam cheep i'd send it back but it's not worth the effort and it IS doing what it was intended... but wow I seriously don't expect this cheesy, low quality unit to last any time at all.     • Much too Light for a Foredom
Sorry, I tried to take a photo but the hanger wont stay clamped to the table with the weight of the Foredom. It would have been great for the money if it worked. This is not sturdy enough to hold the Foredom.

    • Gets the job done
This seems a little cheap made but it does get the job done. Not sure how long it will last because when tightening and loosing the extension rods they don't feel like they will hold up too long. But I have only used it a couple of times, and it does hold the rotary tool in place.

    • Flimsy
Very flimsy at the clamp base. Had to put a wood screw into the side of plastic clamp in order for it to stay secure. I made it work but would never buy again.
